If you are looking for someone that is touchy about references to the monkey hangers of Hartlepool you are barking up the wrong tree Beny maybe you should try this one:

Is that the real reason?
Nothing to do with the possibility that WhinerNotSinner may attend and do something regrettable to it?

What is so hard for you to understand? The monkey took a dump in my shoe thus ruining a $5000 pair of hand made Italian dress shoes. I guess you pirates are used to such things and would most likely continue to wear them, monkey poop and all.

Animals tend to drawn to the scent of a place or object to do their toilet, I wonder what is was about your footwear that made skippy think it was the right place to poop.
I have never had an animal feel that my footwear was the right place to use as a toilet, but I think that if one ever did I would as reluctant as yourself regards wearing the said footwear again.

Think of those poor natives walking thru the jungle every day trying to find something to eat and kill with their blow darts. Do you think they would throw away a nice pair of gucci shoes just because of a bit of poop on them?
1 Chronicles 16:15
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

So you think Jimmy is being a little over sensitive re: his soiled footwear?
Depending on the diet of the said monkey there is the question that even it was cleaned would the item still be able to even function as an item of footwear due to damage to its intrinsic structure.

Well as I said I think he is just using it as an excuse to make sure Whiner does not make a fool of himself.

Again you will need to take that up with Benny as he was the one who introduced Monkeys into the conversation.

I can hear them now, "How many pirates can James fit in his man cave?" "How many pirates does it take to screw in James's light bulb?"
I'm sure those with more worldly minds than mine can come up with more.
