Don't Invite Some Poor Person to Christmas Dinner -
12-15-2017, 03:43 AM
Every once in a while I hear that some do gooder is going to ruin Christmas for others by bringing a trashy person to the family gathering. The link below discusses one such case.
People who are poor and unkept will not be helped by a free Christmas dinner. What they need is motivation to earn more and buy their own presents and Christmas turkey. Why would they bother to get a job if they can mooch off of someone else?
Christmas is the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Let's all pledge to keep it a Holy holiday and not mix in street trash.

What an awful situation when someone NOT in the same social bracket choses to hang around with superior people in the economic scale.
Poor people have lower hygiene standards, compromising the health of my family.
You throw a 50.000 dollars party and they invite you to a hamburger and beer party. And regular beer, not crafted.
They don't know about cars (they say "oh, my car is just a tool to get me to where I want to be... yeah, because you are POOR!)
They wear clothes bought in supermarkets, that are MIXED FABRIC instead of PURE wool, cotton or linen.
They voted Hillary.
You give them the most expensive whiskey and tell you "I cannot notice the difference between this and a Jim Beam"
They don't know most of the people you mention in a conversation, and they mention people you don't know
They have not travelled to anywhere in the world, and keep you asking "Really"? when you tell the story of the boy that took you from Delhi to Jaipur for 0,0000001 dollar cents.
There are only a few things worst than inviting a poor person to your house, let alone in Christmas!
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

Let's reflect on who showed up for Jesus' birth. While some shepherds hung around because they were already loafing in the barn, the record shows the premier guests where three wealthy men bringing pricey gifts. These three wise men were anything but low brow trash. We should all take note of that.

This is a Godly point, Brother Mayor. We should all seek to invite the RICHEST people in our social circles to our Christmas celebration NOT the poorest. If you're a homeless bum then this means you better get collecting cans so you can host those living in drug squats. If you're a drug addict but maintain your lifestyle in an excrement-filled, condemned parking structure with no ceiling, then you should invite a random democrat voter. If you're a wealthy True Christian (i.e. a normal American) there's no-one above you so no need to invite anyone - God will already be there.

How do you sleep at night ? You seem to function in society ,yet you (and all members here for that part) are an absolute selfish madman. How do you do that? Why aren't you locked up in psychiatry?
In the country I live in, your members would get mental help, which obviously they urgently need. We would take care of you and try and treat your mental illness hoping someday, you might be reintroduced in society, after an evaluation by a staff by some fine doctors. That is the point when you are no longer a danger to yourself and others.
You know the earth is flat, right? If you think otherwise, you are most welcome here for help, even if you are rich. We would even consider to help your great leader Mr. Trump. We just might be able to help him to. We have strong faith we can.
Faithful regards and may God bless you,
Your Savior

You're lucky that Jesus forgives blasphemy against Himself. Be careful, though, with blasphemy against the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 12:31-32
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Friend, have you ever heard of President John Adams? He was our nation's President right after George Washington.
Before he was President, John Adams was a lawyer. In court he successfully defended a client by saying, "Facts are stubborn things."
It is a fact that the guests of honor at site of Jesus' birth were the wealthy of that time. This leads to another fact, to practice our faith we need to respect and pay homage to the wealthy among us. To do otherwise is to insult Jesus.
That the earth is flat is simply a fact as well. Watch a body of water near you. Is is emptying by running down hill. That is what would happen is the earth were round. (I'm trying to be patient here and not insult your lack of reasoning power.)
In conclusion, be a good Christian. Invite the wealthiest person you know to Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas.

Brother Gonzales above makes some excellent points above in support of the wrongness of inviting poor people.
Let's not forget that Joseph was on the way to pay taxes when Jesus was born, and so we know he was one of the 1%ers, as nobody else paid taxes.
The guest list at Jesus's birth was restricted: there were angels, Kings and shepherds. Now you may feel that shepherds are rather "humble" but they managed to cough up a sheep or something as a gift - and how appropriate that was for the "Lamb of God."
But we must not forget that they did not stay long nor try to make out that they were "Big friends with Emmanuel" - we hear no more of them after that.
The problem with inviting poor people is that it simply upsets them - they see what is available and suddenly, because they cannot have it, they become dissatisfied, and the next thing you know, they become Communists and cause all manner of trouble insisting of "equality" and "rights" - and when they get them, they don't stop.
Although I cannot think of anyone who is significantly richer than me, I don't think I would feel particularly "comfortable" in their presence, and if a host cannot make their guest comfortable, the host has failed - a lose-lose scenario.
If you really insist on inviting a poor person to your property, make sure they are not armed or carrying illegal substances, and then confine them to the servants' quarters and supply them with corn-dogs and cheap beer - they like that sort of stuff and it will not give them "ideas".

I'm reminded of Jesus and the Bible (KJV1611) when it comes to providing Christmas meals:
Quote:
And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
- Genesis 9:7
|
Notice it didn't say multiply in massive numbers so that everyone lives in poverty and squalor and is driven to vote for socialists and Democrats. Jesus would be offended if we rewarded them with a dinner where we are celebrating Jesus and the abundance He provided.
If I'm not mistaken, the Salvation Army has provided Christmas meals for many years, and no good has come of it. Poverty is caused by socialists and Democrats.
Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
...and get off my lawn

This book does not say that.

Re: Don't Invite Some Poor Person to Christmas Dinner -

This thread reminds me of the Manhattan socialite whose idea of honoring Christ on His birthday meant inviting three homeless people - two men and a woman - to her upper east side home. The socialite - let's call her Edna - had caterers prepare ridiculously fancy meals and asked the three visitors to stay overnight. The next day, she found the woman trying to fit jewelry into her overfilled shopping bag that was already filled with her host's clothing (although the 2 weren't the same size), and by the time police arrived, she realized the men had stolen her TV, a couple of antique lamps, and the woman's late husband's collection of guns; this took place while she slept.
This just proves what Jesus said about pearls and swine. Let us, rather, celebrate Christmas with those of similar economic status, thanking the Baby Jesus for the many opportunities we've been given (and not squandered). I believe people choose to be poor just like they choose to be left handed, autistical, socially inept, and doomed to hell. You don't see anything about mansions in hell when you read the Holy Bible - and why would you?
Our Lord said, "In my father's house are many mansions." The wealthy live in mansions. Glory to God that He chose the wealthy of this world to rule, to have tax breaks, and to live with Him come the glory. Hallelujah!
Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”
Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man. Amen and Amen

I was having coffee at the Senior Center yesterday when my table got into a serious Bible discussion like yours, Brother Larry. A silver-haired lady who is a little too smart for her own good asked me this, "If Jesus is the Son of God, why did God send those wise men with gifts when God could provide anything Jesus wanted? Seems like a waste."
I explained to her God sent the wise men for what today we call "public relations." God wanted rich people to be seen as nice and helpful. Rich people need to be seen tossing some coins here and bringing gifts there (accurately recorded in the Bible) so the poor don't get mad and revolt.
Today we rich True Christians™ are doing well because God made certain we looked good. Glory be to Him.

As if there is any doubt, from God's own hand we read why we are not to invite the poor into our homes on Christmas.
Proverbs 23:21..for drunkards and glutton shall come to poverty and drowsiness clothes a man with rags.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

As a True Christian™ I am completely against man torturing another White person. Only God can dictate punishments (well, some Pastors can too, but they are True Servants™ of Jesus).
So when I hear Subaru driving femnazi uber-liebrals spout nonsense regarding 'showing some love during the holidays' I want to haul off and beat some Christianity into them.
Imagine you have only eaten dirt (you are an expert on what dirt is good, which it too crunchy) your whole life. No clothes, cold and wet all the time, never been washed. Like wetbacks or nigras, for example. So some 'do-gooder' comes along and cleans, clothes and feeds the wretched soul. Suddenly, dirt is not good enough for you. You must have a Porterhouse. You are miserable for the first time in your life. The only way out is for you to rape fair skinned blonde women and steal from their husbands.
So that 'gift of charity' is really a gateway enabling into a depraved world of sodomy and wretched criminal behavior. Thanks a lot, liebrals!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Christmas is the time of year when people make bad judgments. We at LBC want to remind people not to make socialists out of poor people. They need to learn their problems are of their own making and the rest of us are not going to bail them out.

And you think Jesus would approve of making poor people into socialists? The money changers in the Temple were operating under the Temple's governing rules. Jesus knocked over the table took a whip to the socialists. Read your Bible.
