Well, actually, necessary/ lifesaving work is permitted on the Lord's Day (Lk 14:3-5). God's commandments are quite reasonable. But frivolous work like collecting firewood so that you can cook something to eat would of course be punishable by death if Mosaic law were enforced.

The whole holiday thing is just out of curiosity. There are currently 24 holidays . Give or take a few. My count could be off. From what I can tell about the view point is that the government would be slimmed down a lot. The Church at this point would be the government.
I am just trying to understand your religion and view points fully...

I see that my display picture was hand picked by someone. Thank you for thank you for taking the time and changing that so I wouldn't have to go through my computer and find a picture. It is a pain from time to time, I really need to sort them out. I also saw that someone took the time and made a signature for me. I must say, you are very considerate. Colossians 1:16 is a very interesting passage. In my opinion, John 14:6 might have been better, perhaps Matthew 7:13-14 seeing how in your religion I have chosen the wide gate and have chose damnation over being saved.
Maybe Luke 13:2-3 or Mark 1:15 would be more suited for a situation like this.
Romans 6:20-23 is an interesting passage. Ezekiel 33:19 is also a good read.

Dear girl,

I must admit that I have very little interest in the fate of the cesspit that is earth after Rapture. Of course all True Christians™ will be taken into Heaven. God has made us a promise!

1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

If I have the time, I might be taking a look down and see how those left behind suddenly realize how wrong they were, how they mocked Jesus and His followers. It will be terrible, a mass panic as you suggested, but it is all for the good. It is all part of God's master Plan. The pandemonium that follows Rapture will only enrich further the intricate tapestry of God's GRACE.


The people left behind? They have made their choice. We are helping them NOW by spreading the Good News about Jesus. There is still time but not much.
