Jesus was the Son of God, one with the Father since eternity...

"I and My father are one" (John 10:30)

Friend, you took snippets of the verse. Typical of a fluffy bunny false Christian. God does not tell us to skip parts of the Bible if they make us uncomfortable. He wants us to read the ENTIRE book and follow ALL OF IT. We do not 'interpret' (nor does God even suggest we do) His Perfect Word. I get what you're trying to say about Jesus not being a Jew, but the fact is, he was a practicing Jew. And it went even further. Jesus, as I'm sure you know, was -- is -- often called the messiah. His Judiasm -- as it goes -- is superior, and is Christianity. He regarded his apostles as Jews as well.

Check out the book Your God is Too Small by Bible scholar J.B. Phillips. I've pulled the following passage from it. "...Christ himself taught us to regard God as a father. Are we to reject His own analogy? Of course not, so long as we remember it is an analogy... The intimate love for, and interest in, his son possessed by a good earthly father represents to men a relationship they can understand."

We are all sons of God. Jesus was a man perfectly in-tune with God, with the father, and thus, this is why -- and this is something a lot of folks don't know about Christ -- he called himself not the son of God, but the son of man. Confused people, trying to understand this great man's life, drastically misinterpreted it, and this human, theological battle continues.

I enjoy Gandhi's summation of Christ's sacrifice. "A man who was completely innocent, offered himself as a sacrifice for the good of others, including his enemies, and became the ransom of the world. It was a perfect act."

I'm sorry! I'm afraid I don't understand your issue with me. I respect you dearly, sir. This is an important conversation, but not if it turns to argument.

Do you believe Matthew, Mark, Luke and John over Jesus Christ?

You seem to have a problem with appearances. God is not interested in them, He looks on the heart. But I suppose you're trying to say that Jesus was an albino: He is described in The Bible as having white hair, definitely NOT a characteristic of Semites.

See how a single verse - here is the context - negates your assertion? What were these people BEFORE they became sons of God? It's very simple: they were something else.

Which means they were NOT the sons of God.
