The Pastors and Male Elders had their 2nd meeting about (Ex) Brother Heathen Basher this morning, and Polly from the Church offices forgot to clean out the coffee maker last night. So I ran over to Son Bucks.

When I came in, Louie closed the regular window and moved over to the CHURCH ONLY window to get my order together...and there was some mumbling and fussing from the crowd.

One guy kept muttering, "All men are created equal...all men are created equal..." and it eventually started to nag at me. Finally I told him to quote scripture or clam up, as he was obviously bothering a lot of people, and that's why they were getting twitchy and restless and starting to raise their voices.

Is this phrase from the Bible? It sounds familiar, but I can't place it in The Book©.

It's an American Worldview. Although the reference rings truthful in the way man is created in the image of God -Genesis 1:27. Endowed by their Creator - Genesis 1:26, that is, every man has a certain dignity and was given dominion over the rest of creation.

Well you do have to realize that at the time of writing "all men" meant "all white landowning men".

See this is the problem with documents written by man. Things change, documents aren't clear enough for future generations because the writers lacked the forethought to consider things that would come about in the future.

Seth thinks that the second ammendment should give him the right to own a tank. Unfortunately the founding fathers were incapable of conceiving of such a notion, so didn't include or exclude tank ownership. Hence the cat fight currently going on in Washington.

Fortunately, we have the Bible, and with Gods word...

All men are created equal, as far as free will goes. After that, it is what you do to please Jesus that moves you to the head of the line.

A perfect example of that is the Crystal Cathedral main parking lot. Pastors and Reverends have all the spots next to the doors and they have golf cart shuttle service. The first row is valet parked Platinum tithers, Then Gold with the tram service. Silver and so on. These designations were not just slips of a paper placed in a bucket, they are based on a persons devotion to God and how much they want to please Him.

There is a reason the tin tithers are on the other side of the Landover Expressway with the Jesus-tron. And beyond them, the ethnic people with the Philco radio.

Miss Cookie is critical to the proper functioning of the Church office. She cannot be bothered to stand in line. I think the security DVD from Son Bucks should be given to Bobby-Joe to review and identify the rabble rousers. Ofc. Richards could pay them a visit. It is only fair.

This kind of philosophy causes untold problems when applied to, say, negroes. I believe that kind of liberal sentiment is simply incongruent with the world as it currently stands.
