Welcome!
You've definitely come to the right place to get closer to Christ. If you haven't done so or started already, I would suggest that you read the KJV Bible from front to back and follow all of its teachings.
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Oh PRAISE JESUS! HE WILL NOT BE KEPT HIDDEN!
I am so sorry your parents didn't love you enough to share the Good News with you, but Praise God you followed your heart and found Jesus anyway! Tell us, how did you come to find the Light of Christ in this sick, depressing, evil, horrible world?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

This "sick, depressing, evil, horrible world" is exactly what motivated me to start my journey. I know there's better place , and I will do whatever is in my power to reach it. If Hell is worse than the earth we live on, why won't people wake up and accept The Lord into their hearts and follow his word exactly as it states in The Bible?
I do not want to be stuck burning in Hell with people who did not even attempt to find Christ.

Well now I do not blame you one bit!
Which is actually why I'm surprised at your comment HERE.

Welcome young lady. Why haven't any men wanted you? It it 'that smell'? When at Church, speak to some of the female Church elders.
Edit: I asked my wife, Mrs. Hutchins what her secret to always having the light piney scent. She told me a washcloth soaked in Pine-Sol in her bloomers.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Well, I can admit that I'm still very worldly and ignorant to a lot of things, but I'm am trying my best to grow out of it.

No, sir, I possess no foul odor. I feel as though I have to get myself right with the Lord first before I can give my heart to another.
And the Pine-Sol thing, I'm just asking an honest question here, but won't that cause infection?

GLORY GLORY GLORY! GOD has led you to the only place on the Internets with access to TRUE Christians. Yes, I said the only place. Sure, there are many impostors out there, but none are worth your time. I sought an opportunity to release the bonds that the papists had placed on my soul, and the LORD brought me here.
I confess that at first I was a fool. I have since learned that you can hide from other unsaved trash, but you can't hide from a True Christian. They (PRAISE JESUS) saw through my ring kissing facade and opened up a can of holy whoop-ass on my soul.
You mentioned you do not have a wife. Perhaps you have been involved in unnatural acts with other men? Landover is willing to help you put your unclean fornication behind you.
We love you!
Brother Larry

Welcome! It is lovely to have someone who actually bothers to follow the instructions. If you have any questions, you can direct them to me, or if I cannot answer, to a suitable church elder. Praise the good Lord Jesus for bringing you hear! Luke 15:7 "I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth

I did not know that this thread had been bumped. My apologies, sir, for not responding sooner. My walk with Christ has not been the easiest since not a lot of my family members don't actually agree with me straying away from Buddhism. However, by taking it one day at a time, I can say now that I know I've made the right decision by giving my life to Christ. Just because my family will burn in Hell, doesn't mean that I have to suffer the same fate.
As for finding a wife, I've asked the church members here for pointers. I haven't had the best of luck. Wanting to keep my virginity until marriage and uppity women have been deal breakers from both sides.
And don't worry, sir. These rules were designed to embody the Word of God. You don't have to worry about me breaking any

Hello, Hate the Sin!
Your first name is such an unusual one. Can you tell us of its origin? I hope these silly women haven't been throwing themselves at you once they learned of your lack of marital ties. Sometimes the weaker gender can behave so badly when an obviously strong, young, handsome, intelligent man comes in the room. I praise Jesus that you've found me -um- us, and that you are striving to deepen your relationship with our soon-coming King. Glory!
So, I hope you'll accept my welcome and my offer to have one of my famous pies at a store of mine near you. Many are located near hotels.
Yours in the Precious Name and Blood of JESUS,

Madame Lamb,
I have no idea of the origin of my first name, but I guess it would be my fault not to ask about it, either.
I have not had many women come to me about it, actually.
I do know how women can get, so it does not bother me much.
Lastly, I'd be delighted to have one of your pies. Do you have a list of locations?

Her pies are lovely. If you will take a suggestion from me, I'd advise against eating too much and save up for her pie; it's so tasty, my husband only ate her pie for the entire day!
