Senators Threaten Saudi Arms Deal Over Oil Prices

WASHINGTON - A group of Democratic senators on May 13 threatened to block a multimillion dollar U.S. arms deal with Saudi Arabia unless the kingdom ups oil production and helps cut soaring gasoline prices...

"We are saying to the Saudis that, if you don't help us, why should we be helping you?" said Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. "We are saying that we need real relief, and we need it quickly. You need our arms, but we need you to cooperate and not strangle American consumers."

The resolution, expected to be fast-tracked to the Senate floor, would prohibit the mammoth arms sale unless Saudi Arabia agrees to increase oil production by one million barrels per day.

Schumer said such an increase could bring down the price of a gallon of gasoline at the pump by 50 to 75 cents.

"We're losing our wealth. Our economy is heading south. That is the highest priority, not the Saudis getting the top-notch weapons," Schumer said.

The U.S. offered last year to sell Saudi Arabia and Gulf states a $20,000,000,000 arms package...

I have had it up to here *holding my hand at my chin* with those disgusting DEMONcrats. Why do they hate America so much? Why do they spend every waking hour conniving and hatching plans to set America back to the failed liberal policies of the past?

If America truly wants to get on the road to the future, we need to stop promoting the liberal nanny state. We need to immediately scrap Social Security, rescind Medicare, institute a flat tax, take the vote away from women, close the Food and Drug Administration, re-institute slavery, build nuclear power plants in every major city, and imprison every employee from the Centers for Disease Control in a bloody subterreanian dungeon. Only then can America again become The Land of Freedom® that God favors!

I'm not quite sure. I don't know why we just don't use $10 billion of those arms to overun the dump and take control. Then take the remaining $10 billion to provide security as we suck that shithole dry. I could care less about sand-people. If it wasn't for us they'd still be living in tents rubbing dung on each other's faces.
