I think this is at the point it should be said, I feel like Mr. Failure you don't appreciate the loving effort on Landover's part to save your soul. We've gone through nearly 16, 17 pages of tug-o-war, for you to finally admit babies deserve damnation in Hell. We're trying dear, no sinner is undeserving of our unconditional effort. Even Jeffrey Dalmer, as we've established has a place in the Kingdom of Heaven, over a squabbling infant who can't even pronounce "Jesus Christ."

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Even If it is narrow there still will be alot of people going to heaven. Theres alot of good people in the world who are going believe it or not it may not seem like it but there are. I could name a few who I think are wonderful people who have done great things
Kirk Cameron
Colonel Clarence Emil "Bud" Anderson
Lieutenant Julius Becton
George W. Bush
Tim Lahaye
Jerry B. Jenkins
Sam Childers
And several others that I cant name off the top of my head right now. There are more decent people that are going to heaven than you think.

GOD EXPLAINS ABOUT EVIL Amos 3:6b-8 .Shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?. Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

Where? I just re-read the entire thread but there was nothing like that. In Post # 258 you made a similar claim but you didn't really start citing any form of EVIDENCE until post # 282, most of which supported the positions you were trying to refute. For example you were going on about baptisms of which one was unaware "working" somehow. Until:
Quote:
John 3:5 does not apply to infants whove died before a baptism Ive already been over this they do not have the capacity to sin
|
Quote:
The old testament was written way before the new testament and its obvious the new testament did a way with a few things.
|
In that case you seem to be claiming that baptism is actually unnecessary for infants. How does it "work" then if the infant's condition is the same before & after? What does it achieve? Nothing. I agree that its condition doesn't change but not as you imply. You have refuted nothing.
GOD EXPLAINS ABOUT CONSISTENCY Malachi 3:6a I am the LORD, .I change not. Let's stick with The Old Testament. When discussing God's Perfect Love with your friends be sure to tell them where you're getting your information from. Christians know that God's standard is unchanging because God is unchanging. In post # 277 you cited Ezekiel. Here is the whole verse:
Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. .The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father. neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
GOD EXPLAINS ABOUT ACCOUNTABILITY
The Ten Commandments introduce a system of justice designed by God and because they are not based on human values which are flawed and corrupt not everything explained by God coincides with what a fallen mind would dream up for itself. It's not necessary to read very far to learn about accountability and retribution. It's right there on page 1 as follows:
Exodus 20:1-5 And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, .visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. of them that hate me.
We know that God reminded Ezekiel "The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father" and we also know what God said about "visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation." Whatever way God blasts those children, at whatever age He chooses, does not cause them to bear the iniquities of their fathers or their fathers' fathers or their fathers' fathers' fathers. That would be a contradiction. It can only result from their own vile nature.

Finally, you're doing something other than regurgitating 21st-century western conventional wisdom and claiming that was the policy of eternal God all along.
Let's see if you have the stones to hold up to some devils advocacy on this issue.
What if Jeffrey, or some hypothetical psycho, tends to change his mind a lot. Spouse abusers, for just one example, tend to follow a pattern where they beat their family members, then dramatically repent afterwards, and promise they will never do it again. Then they do it again. It's a cycle.
If Jeffrey Dahmer or Hitler or Osama Bin Laden or whoever repent on their death bed, what's to stop them from just going back to normal the next moment? Repenting seems like a drama-queenish thing to do, maybe stable, normal people fail to repent properly, and so heaven is filled with people who dramatically regret the horrible things they keep doing over and over.
I'll give you a hint [Edit: no, no hints.]

Here's another passage you might like.
Gen 17:12, 14
12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
[. . .]
14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
You keep saying babies don't have the capacity to sin. I'm sure you understand that doing something God tells you not to do – for example, murder – is sin. But failing to do what what God tells you to do is also sin. God commanded that all Hebrew babies be circumcised on the eighth day. Those who were not circumcised would be breaking God's covenant and were supposed to be cut off from God's people. A baby has the capacity to sin because it has the incapacity to do what God tells it to do.
| Mt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

I’ve always wondered about what a scripture denier is hoping to accomplish by going on a Christian forum just to tell us he’s a heathen. What are you hoping to accomplish by such a useless troll-ish activity?
My name is Maxine Levantine. I am 17 and follow the KJV Bible to a T. If you are wanting to hit on me you can turn away. THIS is reserved for Jesus and my future husband (whoever that may be).
