It was one of those dreams that stick on one's head after I wake up, therefore, I think there's something to it, and I need to get out it before I forget.

The key themes I detected in this dream was curse and prophesy;

In another patch of the universe through some time space continuum, a farmer in the BC era held a farm holding. What happened next appeared to be loosely based on the tale of Job. His allotment was struck by a ring of fire, his farm, his livestock, everything was swallowed into the pit, ablaze. This fire extended as a path, like a sun flare connecting this universe with the earth. The scorched livestock manifested into the air by a whirlwind and assembled to form the remainder of Trump's border wall, fulfilling his promise.

The Lord made a promise to only cease this bridge of fire, upon the farmer's redemption, only then the curse shall be lifted.

Cue to a shift in dream where I am now entering a bathhouse, where I witness two men dead on the tile. I previously saw these men enter through a window, only to drop dead. Concerned, I do not linger any longer in fear I too will drop dead. I move through the bowels of the steam complex, finding more and more bodies. I see new customers try to enter, however, I warn them of my discovery and implore them to travel no further. Eventually, I make it to the concierge and demand to know the meaning of this.

And then I wake up.

It was interesting to me, usually I forget my dreams, but this one seemed to hold some significance.

The men trying to enter through the window appear to sound as though they were trying to enter the bath house illegally (2 men at once sneaking in somewhere also sounds gay). I think this is a reminder of how judgment is swift for those who try to hide their homoerotic lifestyles. Now, I have no reason to believe you are a homer Mister Jim. From what I do know, you were treading a dangerous path wanting to marry a nigra you just met. If you are hiding anything, God funds out fast. Could this just be God reminding you to stay on the correct path?

Clearly your dream relates to the Nigerian election. They are trying to get away from military juntas by electing a military leader.

Travel in Africa means knowing when your bribe is inadequate as much as knowing when (or when not) to offer one and of course dealing with clones can also be problematic. The president addresses both matters in his next term, if elected.

First off, and most importantly, the question of cloning. Because let's face it, who would want to bribe a clone? Or not bribe. Remember, Nigeria has observers. Over to the national broadcaster:

Next up, something to do with the eyes. Or the mouth. In any event President Major General Buhari tackles bribery with a clear focus even as he routs the minions of corruption in this postponed election with less than four dozen fatalities on the hustings. Could this be a turning point for the African nation?

The world's idols are well represented in the dark continent and in recent centuries those relating to the moon and popes have made great inroads. The Bible tells us about the fruits of idolatry, of turning away from Christ, fruits laid bare from Cairo to Cape Town. Whatever the outcome of this election, can Africa be saved? In your dream there were many bodies and none of them revived. Yet just as that bath house needed someone to come in from outside to clean it out so in Africa there have been offers of assistance, typically rejected, but at the end of the day Africans themselves need to take action. God already knows the election result even as He sees the need for repentance. Bowing down to idols of the moon or papist "saints" has only made things worse and God would like an apology. It's happened before and it can happen again but probably not in Nigeria this year whether or not the president is a clone.

Jonah 3:8-10 Let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? Did you buy any of the "Special Offer" cheese at "The Three Shepherds' Supermarket" about a week back? I ask as Mrs Bathfire did and I ate some. It had a vague taste of sour mushrooms. That night I too had a strange dream. I was in the lab at the Biblical Science department and was speculating on why the fatal voltage for the hippopotamus had been so low when the cat with which I was wiping the white board turned into a dwarf version of Mahatma Gandhi and wandered off.

For some unknown reason I felt a compulsion to follow him but when I got outside, it was not the America I knew but some horrible Stalinist wasteland in which everyone spoke Spanish.

I woke up in a sweat and had to go an have a shower. The shower seemed to take a long time and the next morning I found I had ordered 18 hats from Amazon.

Very good point, Pastor Bathfire. I was also going to suggest that eating anything heavy (not just interestingly flavored cheeses) late in the evening leads to having intense dreams as well.

Especially beans. The last time I had beans for dinner, I had a long dream about six feet tall, bipedal ant-like extraterrestrials which were in the process of conquering the Earth. They were killing us by spitting an acid, which basically melted anything organic, including human bodies. They were entering my home, and I barely escaped from their venom by sprinting to a Toyota Prius which just happened to be in my garage, and driving as fast as I could. The last thing I remember, was that I was approaching a puddle of the extraterrestrial ant venom on the street, and I was trying to think if the tires were made of rubber of organic origin, or were synthetic. The latter would mean I could drive through the puddle, the former would mean they would melt and I'd be helplessly stuck in the middle of the venomous puddle. I woke up terrified as I drove right into the puddle (there was no other way, extraterrestrial ants were behind me, and Prius is not exactly an all-terrain type of vehicle).

That was terrifying. No more beans for me! Thankfully, Enrique shares my aversion to beans (at high altitudes, their digestion is even more problematic).

The interpretation of dreams is clearly laid down in the Bible. The instructions start in Genesis:

Ge:40:8: And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.”

Here we see that only God can interpret the dreams that God sends.

Numbers 12:6
And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.

Just in case Genesis was not too clear as to how dreams work, this verse clarifies matters.

Deuteronomy 13:1-5
De:13:1: If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
De:13:2: And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
De:13:3: Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
De:13:4: Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
De:13:5: And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

And these verses shows what happens if the person is just making everything up on his own.

J'g:7:13: And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.
J'g:7:14: And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.
J'g:7:15: And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.

Although the connection between a barley cake and the defeat at the hands of the Host of Midian is not immediately apparent to you, it does not mean that it was not clear to Gideon. The question is "Are you a prophet of the standard of Gideon?"


Daniel 4:19-36
Da:4:13: I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;
Da:4:14: He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:

Da:4:19: Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.

Here Daniel goes on to tell Nebuchadnezzar that unless he turns to God, he’s going to suffer.

Thus we see that God sends dreams to people who do not have the faintest idea what they mean. The dreams require interpretation by someone who is known to be a prophet of God. Unfortunately, a prophet is only as good as his last prophecy and therefore, until he is dead - and can no longer prophecy – we only have that prophet’s word that he is a prophet of God.

Obviously by the time the Old Testament ended, God had decided that His Creation – mankind – was not up to the job of distinguishing real and false prophets, but God still had faith in dreams:

Acts 2:17
“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

Even though we are in the last days, this prophecy in Acts is not fully operational and in the meantime, it is clear from the New Testament example that Christians are to seek God’s Word from the inspired Scriptures and sound biblical teaching, not private interpretations such as dreams:


2Pe:1:20: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe:1:21: For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Your post reminded me to read Deuteronomy again and I recalled (when reading chapter 18) that some people say Jesus was making a prophecy when He shared the parable of the Good Samaritan. Essentially the idea is that the Samaritan represents Christ and that He's prophesying His own return.

Luke 10:33b-35 When he saw him, he had compassion on him and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

Since Jesus' words did not come to pass, as far as the disciples were concerned, people say that Jesus was not therefore a prophet, quite apart from there being no outstanding price to pay for our Redemption after the two pence ran out.

Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

In reality, since we know that Jesus is. a prophet (Luke 13:31-33) what we can say that, since this did not come to pass, it was not a prophecy. Am I understanding that correctly?
