To see the ungodly judge and punished. But why did jude refer to so many non-canonical books such as the Book of Enoch and the Assumption of Moses?

Are those non-canonical books as trustworthy as the canonical ones? Should we hold them in the same regard since the brother of James quoted them?

Are there any good apologists? McDowell, Strobel, Kennedy, Geisler, Holding, Zacharias. Are any of them any good?

A man may make reference to characters and events that occur in a comic book and our shared cultural millieux will facilitate communication but that does not mean that the Dan Slott run of Spider-Man is the word of God.

Thank you Mr. Niles for answering my question and helping me to better understand why Jude did what he did. I appreciate the help. If I may ask another are there any apologists you would recomend?

Kirk Cameron is an apologist? Has he ever written anything on any apologetics subject? I thought all he did is teach people how to witness.

While I'm spry you little wheelchair willy, I don't have the ESP you heathens believe in. Try using the quote functionality, unless your currently having one of those "siezures" God has judged you with.
One other thing, no wife? No children? So your a barren man, or what I like to call a woman.
You better hope there is a wheelchair ramp in hell spastic.

So is using big words in a different language, Mr. Liberal Elitist. Let's not be starting fights while you are here.
ETA: Also: kindly spell-check your posts before wasting our precious bandwidth with your inane postings. We have no time to try to decipher your cryptic posts that are littered with lame misspellings.

I did not start it. How exactly are those big words? I apologize for the misspellings.

"Argumentum ad hominem". In the space of 3 words you used 19 letters, 17 of them used in 2 words. The average word length in English is approximately 5 characters. You chose to use 8.5 characters per letter in those.

Yes from now on I will simplify all of my posts as much as possible. Sorry for the big words.

Friend, the Bible is a simple book and needs no interpretation. God says you will be judged, you can darn well expect to be judged. He may do it, he may have a Pastor do it, he may even have a mere child do it. Until He has you judged, you must wait patiently. We cannot tell you what God is going to do or say, we only know what He has said and what He has done. You really think man can speak for Him? Apologetics? Are you off your rocker?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Now that I've broken through somewhat, tell us about yourself. I would like the opportunity to introduce you and your transexual "itfriend" to Jesus Christ.

EDIT:
P.S. This vile puke is not using American Language in other parts of the forum too:

Hi, Herbert good to see you again. Hope you are doing well. Thank you for helping me find the quote button. I appreciate the help. I apologize for using the big words. I also apologize for persecuting you. I already introduced mysef earlier. Please refer to the first post. Please do tell me more about Jesus Christ. Again thank you for your help and I again apologize for my disparageing remarks. Take care and have a nice day.

Don't apologize for persecuting me and my brethren, I'm here to have lite minded individuals like yourself hurl your vileness at me, I bear no malice. I am embraced by my faith in Jesus. I have no answers for you right now, you seem to be a very bi-polar woman and I'm not sure what angle I should take to help put Jesus into your life. I'm not going to read through your initial vileness to find out about yourself, can you please repost for an older gentleman?
Now on the other hand if your sucking up just to push a heathen meat stick up my piping then my attempts to save you will cease and you may bugger off and await your eternal damnation.

Thank you for your reply. I am not-polar. I just allowed my emotions to get the better of me. It was a mistake that I am unproud of and sicerely sorry for. As for who I am. I am just a forty year old man that lives in Texas. I was saved and baptised when I was eight. At my former church North Cleburne Baptist. If there is anything else you would like to know please just ask.

I find it interesting that I give you your answers that you seek yet you ignore them. Is that how you read the Bible, only paying attention to the parts you like?

Mr. Hutchins I owe you an apology too. I accidently missed your previous post. Thank you for answering my questions and helping me.
