I have a favor to ask Brothers -
07-28-2010, 10:56 PM
In September Phebe Wintersnow and I will be wed. Rev Jim Osborne has agreed to do the honor of marrying us.
As far as I know, Sister BIG, Handmaiden,BTB,Talitha and Mistress Cookie will be her bridesmaids.
I now have the pleasure of asking a few of my Brothers to be in our wedding.
Pastor Ezekiel will you be my best man?
Brothers James Hutchins, Levi Jones, Benedict Davis and Nobar King will you be my Groomsman?
Keep your calendar open for the second weekend in August. We will be flying to New York to be fitted for Tuxedos.

I am pleased to accept but I have quite a few new suits as of late and would be happy to save you some money, and not to worry they are some sharp looking threads. I have this one in 4 colors! Just let me know.

Wow. It's been a long time since I've been a groomsman. I have a tuxedo, but I hope it still fits!
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Umm Brother Benedict, that's a nice suit, but I think a nice black tux will go better with the color theme

I have to be honest, right now cash is the least of my problems. I don't need to up set the little lady if you catch my drift. Females get a bit cranky when they are planning a wedding. Just go with the flow.

Don't worry about anything, Jimmy. James H and I have the bachelor party locked down!
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Just posting to inform you that my agent agreed to too low of a minister's fee. $75,000 is the rate I charge per hour, not for the whole ceremony*. I hope you will forgive this slight mistake and I know you will not have a problem paying the appropriate fee when the time comes, Brother Dewitt.
Also, since a man of God like myself wouldn't debase myself riding in a rented limo to and from the ceremony, I'd like for you to purchase a brand new limo specifically for this event. I do have a fleet myself, but it would be rather rude of you to expect me to provide my own transportation. I haven't decided on the 24-foot Hummer or the 20-foot Rolls-Royce. I'll keep you informed on my decision.
*Whole ceremony starts from the time I begin to get dressed (minimum 2 hours), transportation to the church, transportation to the reception auditorium, and finally transportation back to my estate.

Not a problem, that seems like a fair and reasonable rate. Say you are more than welcome to join the rest of us in New York. My tailor will take care of a new suit for you. I am buying all my groomen new watches, and a diamond ring .

Why don't I just cut you a check for for the entire 24 hour period. I am not going to have you punch in and out like a common laborer.

Brother James,
this must be a very hectic time in your life right now and I would like to help you out any way I can.It seems to me you are buying the 1st thing you see, while that does save time I would be concerned that the sales people are taking advantage of you as an example I was able to find this watch with only 5 minutes shopping.

I guess you see that this watch looks just like the one you picked out but this one is $65 BEFORE DISCOUNTS, much more reasonable than the $325,000 you were quoted.
If you want to give me a list I will be glad to spend the time finding you some deals. It would be my pleasure to help.
Late breaking news, I contacted Timex and if you were willing to pay full price they have agreed to engrave the watches for you.(name and wedding date only, of course)

Brother Benedict if you want a Timex, OK. I am some what allergic to imitation gold and imitation leather. Would you like your ring to have a genuine cubic zircon in lieu of a diamond?

I am not trying to interfere brother James T was trying to be of some help as I know you must be stressed by all the work involved in setting up this wedding. Again, if I can be of any assistance I am more than happy to do anything I can.

Brother I assure you that you are not interfering at all. I know that you just recently became a man of means and not quite accustomed to it. When I need something I have people who help me out with the tasks. When it comes to selections of fine watches and jewelry I tend to take care of that myself. Its a bit more personal that way. If you would feel more comfortable accepting a Timex watch, that's all right with me. While they do look remarkably alike, a Patek Philippe will not turn your wrist green.

I will think about your fine offer but I do not think I have a suit to go with a green wrist...but like you said I now have money so I can always buy a suit to go with it couldn't I. See I am learning from you every day!I will leave it to you.

Erm, didn't you get the invite to the bachelor party? We are all pitching in a thousand to marry Jimmy off right.
I know with all that cash you are going to have rolling in, you are already in.

It so happens that we are doing a mission in Las Vegas two nights before you are wedded. What a coincidence!

Thank you Brother. I thought you might think it was too dangerous to have the man she almost chose in the Church in case she changes her mind at the last minute.
But I will behave.
In Christ!
