White House Agrees: Sotomayor a Bigot -
05-30-2009, 06:51 PM
On Friday, the White House joined so-called “right-wing nut jobs” in blasting Supreme Court Nominee Sonia Sotomayor’s 2001 comment that a “wise Latina woman” could make better judgments than a white man.
While White House spokesman Robert Gibbs attempts to spin this obvious bigotry as “simply making the point that personal experiences are relevant to the process of judging”, it’s obvious that Sotomayor is a Class A bigot.
Let’s look at the "peaceful, non-bigoted" La Raza for a moment. As a member of the National Council of La Raza, Ms. Sotomayor said [in 2001]: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion as a judge than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”
La Raza teaches that Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon and parts of Washington State make up an area known as “Aztlan” — a fictional ancestral homeland of the Aztecs before Europeans arrived in North America.
These areas belong to the Latinos and Latinas and must be surrendered to “La Raza” once enough immigrants, legal or illegal, come to constitute a majority, as in Los Angeles. Once this is achieved, the current borders of the United States will simply be obliterated.
But the “reconquista” won’t end with territorial occupation and secession. The final plan for the La Raza movement includes the ethnic cleansing of Americans of European, African, and Asian descent out of “Aztlan.”
Miguel Perez, a La Raza spokesman at Cal State-Northridge, has been quoted as saying: “The ultimate ideology is the liberation of Aztlan. Communism would be closest [to it]. Once Aztlan is established, ethnic cleansing would commence: Non-Chicanos would have to be expelled — opposition groups would be quashed because you have to keep power.”
It’s interesting that 60% of this “wise Latina woman’s” judgments which have been appealed to the Supreme Court were overturned. Apparently, her wisdom does not extend to Constitutional Law.
Why is it acceptable for this member of La Raza (that is, “The Race”), considered the Latino KKK, to be a member of the Supreme Court, while a white person who even dares to speak against illegal immigration is branded a bigot and blacklisted from any job of significance greater than burger-flipper at McDonald’s?

Racism aside the notion that a woman can make better judgments than a man is patently absurd. The idea that some swaybacked female bean picker can just shows how crazy the bleeding heart LIEbruls are.

Well the average overturn rate for a justice on the Appellate Courts is 68% (for the 2007-2008 term), so she's doing pretty well for a dumpy bean-picker.

Three out of five ain't exactly great. And when one of those is overturned by an 8-0 vote, that's really not great.
Quote:
The third reversal, in 2005, was a unanimous 8-0 decision in the case Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. v. Dabit. Sotomayor had written that a class action securities suit brought in state court by a broker/stockholder was not preempted by the 1998 Securities Litigation Uniform Standards Act. But the high court's opinion said it "would be odd, to say the least" if the law contained the exception that Sotomayor said it did.
|
She'll probably hit 4 out of 6 overturned shortly, with this bit of bigoted filth:
Quote:
The Supreme Court is expected to rule by the end of June on the much-discussed Ricci v. DeStefano case in which Sotomayor took part. It's not publicly known whether she wrote the unsigned, one-paragraph order in the reverse discrimination case involving firefighters in New Haven, Conn., to which all three of the judges hearing the case agreed. (That order later became an official opinion with the same wording at the behest of other 2nd Circuit judges.) The decision, upholding the ruling of the lower-court judge who first heard the case, said the city was justified in not certifying the results of an exam required for firefighters to be promoted after no African Americans scored highly enough to be considered.

One thing is certain, this beaner judge is definitely not upholding any Christian values in our Godly country. If this woman gets on the Supreme Court pot will be declared a sacrament in no time.

Why Sotomayor Is Good For Pagan Rights
http://wildhunt.org/blog/2009/05/why...an-rights.html
Now that Obama announced U.S. Appeals Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor as his pick to replace Justice David Souter on the Supreme Court of the United States, you can bet that partisan groups on the left and right will be preparing for a high-profile fight. The SCOTUS Blog doesn’t see any major problems (barring an unforeseen ethics issue) in Sotomayor getting on the bench of our nation’s highest court (Slate agrees), but the process can be long and grueling. I briefly mentioned Sotomayor earlier this month in reference to a scaremongering article about her, but what chilled the heart of the (presumably Christian) conservative writing the piece, made me hopeful should she be appointed.
In 1994, Judge Sotomayor ruled in favor of two prisoners who claimed to practice Santeria, a Caribbean religion that involves animal sacrifice and voodoo, saying that “distinctions between ‘traditional’ and ‘non-traditional’ religions” are “intolerable.”
Meanwhile, the Institute For Public Affairs has done a quick round-up of her opinions on religious liberty and finds her stances “very encouraging”. They also reference the prisoner free exercise case involving Santeria.
Campos v. Coughlin (1994). In this case, prison inmates asserted a free exercise right to wear multiple strands of beads under their clothes, as part of their practice of the Santeria religion. Judge Sotomayor upheld their claim.
For a more robust listing of Sotomayor’s religion decisions, check out this post from Religion Clause. For an in-depth examination of her entire judicial career, check out the SCOTUS Blog. I’m personally heartened at Sotomayor’s willingness to fight for the rights of religious minorities (especially in prison), I envision that her voice will become vitally important as some key issues involving the rights and freedoms of religious minorities make their way to the Supreme Court.

What is the point of having a person on the Supreme court who is not a real American, let alone a True Christian? If they needed a translator for some of the Spanish death row cases, couldn't they of of just gotten one of the cleaning people in? And really, does it really matter what they are saying? I mean, it is not like the are regular people, they are Mexican variants, they eat Dogs, for His Sake! Last I looked, the Supreme Court building was all cement and stone, no gardens either so she will not be able to bring the rest of her family as there is no lawns to mow.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Mr. Hutchins, Puerto Ricans are American citizens, not Mexicans.
She is, of course, a Catholic Pagan. That's pretty disturbing!

Well, as I always say, you are never too old to learn something. I had no idea Puerto Ricans were Americans. I was under the impression the Puerto Rico was a US possession and the people there were simply waiting for jobs mowing my lawn or cleaning my home.

I just saw this cartoon and figured it had something to do with that racist pinata.

Sotomayor Cartoon In The Oklahoman Comes Under Fire
Huffington Post
06- 3-09
Some women's groups are outraged over an editorial cartoon that ran in The Oklahoman newspaper on Wednesday - it depicts Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor strung up like a pińata with a sombrero-clad President Obama handing out bats to Republican members of Congress.
Jean Warner, the chair of the Oklahoma Women's Coalition, wrote:
Quote:
She's served on the US Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit for 10 years, heard over 3,000 cases and written over 380 opinions (but she's of Puerto Rican descent ~~ ergo the pińata image - right? wink, wink).
Not funny; actually stupid and damaging. A picture speaks louder than words and that cartoon sends a message to women of all ages: "Back off. Know your place. Or we'll take a stick to you and teach you a lesson."
|
Daily Kos poster OKC law dork wrote:
Quote:
"I'm appalled that [The Oklahoman] would publish a cartoon showing a federal judge who happens to be a minority strung up from a tree... There is a vigorous racist block of voters in Oklahoma who harbor racist feelings toward 'Mexicans' (usually meaning anyone of Hispanic origin) that I believe this cartoon is catering to."
|
The editor of the Oklahoman, which is considered to have a conservative editorial viewpoint, did not return calls for comment.
Judge for yourself. Here's the cartoon:
|
Didn't she already say that she's a bigot? Why hasn't her nomination been yanked, yet?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Ewwww who wants to spill a pińata full of her liberal God forsaking splooge.
And if Sotomexican (not fooling me, not for one second) did not like it, why is she smiling?

I applaud Ms. Sotomayer's affirmative action policies. Hopefully there will be a day when affirmative action will be strictly applied to the bench and to Congress. It is racist and unfair of the public puts more votes to a white candidate than a black candidate, since they are only voting for him because of racist tendencies. The black candidate should get the congressional seat.

She's the one who's a racist. It's racists like you and seniorita Sonia who are ruining America.
