Women in the Military: Yes or No? -

Recently I have been considering a career in the military. Obviously not frontline- perhaps medical or office work? Of course, there is the possibility of being a soldier who isn't frontline? I was wondering where God and the True Christians stood on this. Here is some scripture that I believe may support my view- or perhaps it doesn't. 17 Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the
house of Heber the Kenite. 18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent,
she covered him with a mantle. 19 And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and
covered him. 20 Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man
here? that thou shalt say, No. 21 Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and
fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died. 22 And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And
when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his
temples. 23 So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel. 24 And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.

Thankyou, Pastor Zeke. May I ask, who does the cooking and nursing for the military? I hope it's not fags, spreading their AIDS to the good Christian soldiers. Also, do you know of any acceptable careers for women? Teaching, perhaps?

Of course, I always intended to get married, but currently in the UK all men are either heathens or find "salvation" in the wrong churches. And apparently beating your wife is illegal- so I was hoping to get a job so I could afford a visa and go to God's Favorite Country legally. Then maybe I could find a husband willing to correct my mistakes.

I wouldn't marry a Brit for all the tea in china. The men have rotten teeth and no balls.
Best work on getting a Green card so you can come live in God's favorite country (America!). I assume you're White.

Of course I'm white. All the way back to when my family were Irish Settlers. I even traced it once- to be sure I wasn't a filthy negro. So I should get a job? Or just pray that I find enough money to get a green card? I'm confused.

Would it be permissable to form a 'comfort corps' of wimmen, (the heathen, unsaved trash, reprobate sluts want it anyway) for the mens carnal needs? There is much stress being close to the front lines, plus the men would be spared the damnable humiliation of the act of self abuse.

Does the word "fornication" mean anything to you? Because it sure means something to Jesus.
I've heard that Methodists and Presbyterians (among others) use 1 Corinthians 10:13 as some kind of "escape clause" to excuse hookers and masterbation and bestiality, but I assure you that they have not read the entire verse.

If you have Irish blood, no matter how far back, then they probably wouldn't let you join anyway. But it's no life for a woman - just look at the ugly shoes and wrinkled stockings you'd have to wear.

I was looking into getting a Green Card under the Violence Against Women Act - apparently if you can get yourself married to and then abused by a US citizen, you're home and dry.

I served in the U.S. Navy, under a real president, Ronald W. Reagan. During this time, homers were weeded out by asking recruits point-blank if they have homosexual tendencies.
The ship on which I was stationed was manned by 200 dedicated sailors and 450 strapping young Marines. The last thing we would have wanted would have been a bunch of women getting in our way while we were carrying out our Godly missions. Male bonding is only hampered in the presence of women, and it is necessary for shipmates to bond through such time-honoerd traditions as the Shellback Initiation. You haven't lived until you've crawled through wet garbage and getting soundly paddled by your mentors. It was simply fabulous!
Making war against the enemies of God requires extreme attention to detail, and you can't be worried about how your hair looks or breaking your nails or having issues of the flesh. You have to keep your mind focused, and we all know women are simply incapable of this. Also, war can be ugly, and no woman should be subjected to its sights and smells.
As Pastor Zeke pointed out, God has clearly stated what young women are to do:

Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
Military uniforms are designed for men and NOT unisex, therefore a woman wearing the garments meant for men is a sin.
That's one of many reasons a woman should not join the military.

I understand that now, but I'm sure the Navy has female outfits. I assume Obama did that.
