In the false Gospel of Mohammed we read that the People of the Scripture were not divided until after the clear proof
.—
.that is from Mohammed
.—
.came unto them. There had been a number of divisions in fact, not least the differences between Judaism and Christianity in the 1st century. As knowledge of The Truth grew, along the way heretics peeled off which insofar as they called themselves "believers" would also count as doctrinal divisions. Here are some of them:
Alogianism
Quartodecimanism
Montanism
Novatianism
Non-Chalcedonianism
. . Coptic Orthodox
. .. Syriac Orthodox
. ... Armenian Apostolic
. .... Ethiopian Orthodox
. ..... Eritrean Orthodox
. ...... Malankara Orthodox
Donatism
Psilanthropism
Apollinarism
Pneumatomachianism
Eutychianism
Sabellianism
Priscillianism
Well, I'm sure you get the idea. Those and plenty of others all predate Mohammed who was operating somewhere between the
First Council of Chalcedon and the
Third Council of Constantinople on the following chart.
Which form of orthodoxy are you interested in? If they worship idols then obviously they have nothing to do with Christianity.
