The Holy Bible is very clear that in all creation, the LORD seeks - and finds - His Glory. Perhaps no text in the Bible reveals the passion of God for his own glory more clearly and bluntly as in Isaiah where God says,
For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.
Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
Isaiah 48:9-11
God created us for His glory:
I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Isaiah 43:6-7
The LORD knew who would turn against Him, as He is not only cognizant of all that goes on, but nothing happens without His Permission:
Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass,
when the Lord commandeth it not?
Lamentations 3:37
God gave His Son to vindicate the glory of His righteousness:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Romans 3:25-26
Demons are sent to confound and torture those who are sinners, and sin itself, being the only need for a Redeemer, indicates God's Glory. Therefore, demons indicate God's glory:
But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.
1 Samuel 16:14
And still, God forgives our sins. Of course He does this for His own sake:
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Isaiah 43:25

For thy name's sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
Psalm 25:11
This isn't for us, none of this is for our benefit. This is pure love - love of a Righteous God towards the only Righteous Thing in existence - Himself! How amazingly fortunate we are to have been created sentient humans so we can witness this most glorious service to the King of Kings!
