To be honest, i actually quite liked you until this point- you showed promise with your plucky determination. but then you managed it, did something so incredible that i lost that feeling.
What an unbelievably stupid thing to have asked us to take any text, it matters not what it is, and argue the very opposite of that which is in it. To be honest, if i had the time and the contempt for life enough to do it- i probably could, maybe take about half an hour.
What I will instead do is set you a slightly easier challenge, to prove without doubt in my mind- not your own, as a small mind is easy to fill with faith- that God is real, you may use all resources in the world apart from religious scripture or opinion.

You're the one making the big claims here on a web site devoted to praising God. Why are you here? We're here to highlight God's word in its actual reality to the world so that people have no excuse for not knowing God before they decide on Heaven or Hell.
How hateful would it be to let people burn just because they haven't actually understood (or even read) God's word?
But anyway, I thank you for your persecution.
Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

First, I have a question for you:
Why is it that you've joined the private discussion forum of a Christian church far from your home in order to insult and attack us for not sharing your disbelief, and for sharing parenting tips?
Why don't you instead wander down to your Mommy's church and tell her and her friends how stupid they all are?
Is it because you're a pathetic little coward who has to hide behind a computer screen? Yes, I think that's it.
As for God being real: The universe exists. Everything can't come from nothing; even the "big bang" requires that there have been something in existence, which exploded for no apparent reason. Somehow, you think this makes sense.
Now, you say you want proof. "If you give me absolute proof, then I will believe."
Right?
If I give you absolute proof that I am holding a tennis ball, would you then believe I am holding a tennis ball? Of course not. You would KNOW. Knowledge obviates the need for belief.
God wants you to commit via faith, not knowledge. This is why He will not provide you "proof".
Look at it logically. God knows all. That means He knows exactly what it would take to convince any atheist, Islamist, Hindu, Jew, whatever, that He is real. For example, Christopher Hitchens. God knows exactly what would have turned him into a devout Christian. Then Hitchens could have gone to Heaven.
But God didn't do it, because Hitchens wouldn't have had faith. He would have had knowledge.
The Bible says that "all who believe in Him shall have eternal life". Not all who know; all who believe. Those who have faith.
You want proof. Proof obviates the need for faith. Sorry to disappoint, and I'm sorry that you choose eternal damnation in God's Lake of Fire.

I didn't make any big claims, I just wondered if you could. Guessing not
I also didn't say I wanted people to burn, and theres no way that you can place me at the scene of the derelict warehouse that mysteriously caught fire with my ex-wife still inside. You see, I have many things in common with you, I tell her once, then its the derelict warehouse and petrol.
and may i give you a quote, i think it was a wise man who once said "Nice to see you, to see you nice." thank you and good night, I hope that when the rapture finally occurs (as it DEFINATELY will) that God remembers that you spent your life arguing with people on the internet defending his name, rather than doing missionary work and shit.

Ah well. Can't say we didn't try.
So where do you find out about God? Oh... You have thoughts and opinions and basically make God up in your head then get angry with others for not imagining Him in the same way you do.
Ridiculous. We, however, have the entirely not made up real God of the Bible who will actually burn you

I think it is time to cool things down. Please join with me in a hymn of Praise
Quote:
Jesus Loves Me This I Know
Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so. [Edit EB: How much more proof do you need?]
Little ones to Him belong;
They are weak, but He is strong.[Edit EB: Hear that sinners? You're weak!]
Refrain
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.
Jesus loves me! This I know,
As He loved so long ago,
Taking children on His knee,
Saying, “Let them come to Me.”
Refrain
Jesus loves me still today,
Walking with me on my way,
Wanting as a friend to give
Light and love to all who live. [Edit EB: See also Luke:19:27]
Refrain
Jesus loves me! He who died
Heaven’s gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in. [Edit EB: Terms and conditions apply - See Bible KJV1611]
Refrain
Jesus loves me! He will stay
Close beside me all the way;
Thou hast bled and died for me,
I will henceforth live for Thee. [Edit EB: Such a small sacrifice in exchange for being alive just like you are on earth but for EVER!]
Refrain

Such a loverly song I espescily like the chorus!
Your diplomatic act is inspiring.
Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
I can't wait to go to heaven where I can sing this to Jesus Himself for ever and ever.

This show and its merchandise is desensitizing our children to sex and violence!

One of my colleagues told me that his boy twins play Yu-Gi-Oh. Quite successfully I might add, they qualified for a national tournament. When they were there, many of the brats who participated had spent over $5000 on their decks!
That is quite a lot of money for violent hentai collectibles. But it doesn't stop there. As is well known ALL the TCG's eventually lead to Magic the Gathering, the Heroine of cardgaming. Once there, it is very hard to stop.
I have seen firsthand what cardgaming is capable of. It can turn intelligent and gifted young people into freaks, doomed to poverty.
Advice to parents:
1. Do not buy cards for your children!
2. If your children are given cards from someone else. Make sure that you rip the cards down the toilet after ripping them in litle pieces. Even better, make your children do it!
3. If other children insist on bringing cards to your house, ban them!
Matt 5:17-20 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:..."

Hello and welcome to our friendly forums!
We don't joke about Salvation©, dear. Ever.
Why not introduce yourself on our Introduction Forum? We'd like to greet you properly.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I must admit I thought this was a joke forum at first...
Really parents...not letting your children watch a watered down Americanized cartoon.
Fact 1: God says to respect everyone and see the good in everything
Fact 2: It's a cartoon...let your kids watch Passion of the Christ and see how desensitized the get to violence, nudity, and hate
Fact 3: Any TCG is just like any other toy/collectible to be given to a child. Moderation and rules on appropriate play. Do you hate My Little Pony too...you should see some of my friends sisters fighting over/with those things...and the cartoon isn't much better!
Fact 4:...and probably the most crucial here...
I am a born again believer. I have been Baptised. I speak in tongues, and have Jesus given Dreams and Visions. (sounds like I'm pretty serious about my faith). Ask anyone who knows me, and they will tell you I am the most Loyal, Faithful, Friendly, Happy, God-Loving Christian out there...
And Yu-Gi-Oh is possible one of my most favourite show of all time.
So before some of you new parents to the forum start questioning If this is something good for your children, think about doing some of your research first. It's really a rather harmless show compared to it's Japanese original counter part. And it teaches some really good values to your kids...much better than the stuff on the TV now that will just melt their brains.

Wrong. Fact: God says no such thing. God says to love thy neighbor. Please learn who are we to love.

Wrong. Fact: my children have watched the Passion of the Christ and have played characters from the movie for years. I had to stop when little Malachi lost three teeth in one afternoon! And these were his adult teeth! The little tykes love to get into the roles, especially the roles of the Romans for some reason. I think they like to identify with the Enemy, so they can know him and his tricks. Anyway, little Malachi did his very best keeping up with his big brothers, but ultimately they couldn't wake him and the blood was staining the patio bricks so they had to stop playing that afternoon. They have a better idea of what Jesus went through than you do, I imagine.

Wrong. Fact: any collectible to be given a child ought to be restricted to crosses and guns (pistols and shotguns for the younger ones, in my opinion at least). Anything else invites demonic influences.

Wrong. You only think you're been Born Again, but what you experienced was naught but a perfectly natural event involving lots of adrenaline and endorphins. Nothing more. If you look at the circumstances that surrounded that event, and you are brutally honest with yourself, I imagine you will see what I mean. You talked yourself into it, you were expecting it, and so you experienced it. But the "it" you experienced was not the Holy Spirit.
Speaking in tongues demon possessed gibberish, and anyone can dream anything, including what they imagine to be God talking to them personally. You may be friendly and happy, but who you are loyal and faithful to is not Jesus.

Friend, Lelouch of the Rebellion is just as bad. All that slant gook crap is. Why not curl up with the Good Book and priase Gods Impeccable Love instead?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
