Did God Smite Dutch Christian For Competing Against Ken Ham's Noah's Ark? -
10-03-2016, 10:18 PM
Johan Huibers, a Dutch millionaire and firm Bible-Believer, had an apocalyptic dream that the low-lying Dutch coast lands would be inundated by seawater. The flood dream never left him, and he felt compelled to begin what he saw as his life’s work. A desire in his heart to help others by the Holy Spirit Almighty Himself, Johan Huibers spent three years and over $ one million to build this exact replica of Noah's Ark. Since it's opening, the Ark has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors. While some may complain that this isn't really actually helping people in any functional way, like his heart had desired, the fact is, if Johan Huibers' Noah's Ark experience can strike the Fear of God into one soul such that they are too afraid to ever ask questions about the credibility of the Faith of Christ, then Eternal Salvation is their reward, and there exists no more help - or hope - than that!
But there are some suspicious things going on behind the scenes and I, for one, am curious about what it all means.
In contrast to Ken Ham's Noah's Ark, which cost in excess of $100 million, including the gift of an $18 million tax break, courtesy the tax payers, Johan Huibers' Noah's ark cost less than $2 million. Ken Ham's Noah's Ark projects a estimated 325,000 visitors in the first year, to be leveled off at 275,000 eventually. Clearly this comes no where near reaching "hundreds of thousands" in the three years Johan Huibers' Noah's Ark has been selling tickets.
Furthermore, Johan Huibers' Noah's Ark was set to actually get onto the water, sailing to Brazil in time for the Paralympics. By "set sail," I mean " floating on a barge," which, if we are honest, is still quite a bit more naval than Ken Ham's Noah's Ark, anchored in cement in Kentucky, a thousand miles from any ocean.
If this seems fishy to you: a real live Bible Believer in the Godless Netherlands; celebrating the Olympics of the very children God smited with no limbs; fear of Zika Virus rather than reliance upon God, you're not alone. I think, and I could be wrong, and I'm not saying what the Truth is, I'm just sharing how I feel, but I feel like the LORD Almighty Himself is a bit peeved with this Johan Huibers fellow for trying to outshine America's own Austrian import, Ken Ham.
Reasons I believe this could be the case include Johan Huibers' admitted fears of contracting Zika Virus, or assault in Brazil. No True Christian™ fears these things, not really, not when they actually believe the Holy Bible to be True to Its Word (James 5:14-15). They also include the fact that there has never been found a reliable True Christian in any former Viking country, or colony, including Scotland, Ireland, and the eastern seaboard of Canada.
Perhaps most convincing is the recent smiting upon Johan Huibers' Noah's Ark in Oslo (another Godless city built by the bastard children of pagan Vikings).
While I wouldn't encourage anyone to contribute financially, or even prayerfully to this venture, it still might be an interesting, if not a somewhat informative experience.
It seems back in the days of Noah's Ark, when incest was again biologically necessary and morally acceptable,
so too was same-sex and inter-species coupling among animals, at least among the gorillas and chimps. Perhaps this is where the evolution myth
of man having descended from the testicle of an ape comes from.
Could it be that Johan Huibers is jealous of Ken Ham's ability to "Drop the Mic" on secularists? Read some of the things Ken Ham has said over the years, and decide for yourself if Johan Huibers is trying to silence this great voice. - Did you know you can ask very simple questions to the scientists who claim that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago? You could say to them, in a very nice way of course, "Excuse me, were you there?" You are actually asking them, "Were you there to see the dinosaurs when they first came into existence? Were you there to see them alive? Were you there to see them die out?" Obviously, they weren't there, so how could they really know everything about them?
- Second, remember from your biology that ribs "regenerate." In other words, Adam would've had his missing rib back quite quickly.
- It's important for Christians to understand that if this event of the forbidden fruit was not history, then the Fall itself would not be literal. This would also mean that Christ's death on the cross would be meaningless.
- We can't always trust what we see in museums, but we can certainly ALWAYS trust what we read in the Bible.
- Christians should take a stand on six literal days, a young earth, and global flood even if it causes division. Either God means what He says, or we may as well not believe any of the Bible.
- The Bible teaches clearly that compromise destroys! We need to return to the authority of God's Word and its answers.
- Secularists accuse of Genocide & incest at Flood-but in evolution belief man is an animal & mated with whomever & whatever & killed whomever.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Good thoughts to ponder prayerfully, Sister E.
I agree that on balance, the evidence is God wants Ken Ham to succeed, not this fellow from a Godless socialist country. God found the many millions it took to build the ark here in his favorite country. It is inconceivable to me he would want some cut rate version over in sinland.

Just remind me... where in the Bible does it say "And on the deck there was a fully glazed tourist area and in the bowels of the Ark were plastic monkeys?
No wonder the Almighty caused some damage. If the man has any sense, he will go back and do the job properly - that should keep him from more blasphemy for a while.

That is a false Ark. It has glass windows, a metal roof and cheap wood siding. Anyone who tried to sail that thing on a real ocean would soon be sent to the bottom. Why in the world would they go to Norway anyway? I doubt there is a single Christian in the entire Swedish area.

My guess is he thinks Noah got the animals for the ark at a pet store, "Give me two of everything you've got."

At the risk of pointing out the obvious that boat has a big hole in it and it might sink. I do not think it should go anywhere there is water. And also it looks like a leaky old slave ship. No Black man would get on that ship.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: Extol him that rideth upon the heavens By his name JAH, and rejoice before him.-Psalms 68:4

Oy gevalt. With you people, everything is a conspiracy theory or a punishment from G_d. Would that G_d had time to pay attention to everything we do down here.
The world as we know it has been proven to be millions of years old. Evolutionary processes that have occurred after our Creator put us here have been shown to have bases in fact. Next I suppose you'll tell me that the earth is flat?
When the Messiah comes, you'll all have some explaining to do. Why not just get your head out of your posteriors and smell the coffee? Life is too short to waste time being miserable and ultra conservative. It's like the story of Machdendron and Philoshef of old. "Mac" and "Phil" used to live unhappy lives because they felt only by following every word of the Torah could they please G_d. They never knew the joys of dancing, singing, playing games. One day Mac got so upset that he said, "I am going to experience this world created for me millions of years ago. I am going to eat, drink, and be merry." And he did. He died a happy man and no doubt G_d will call him to heaven at the proper time.
Phil on the other hand lived like a religious zealot, giving up everything pleasurable his entire life. When he stands before G_d, I believe the Almighty will ask, "Hey, why didn't you enjoy all the things I blessed the Earth with?" Only G_d knows what will happen then.
Instead of worrying about what's going on with someone who made a boat with good intentions, how about worrying about the things in your own back yards for a change?
A half truth is a whole lie.

Now here I have to agree with you. I am truly blessed with a wonderful True Christian™ husband and my fulfilment comes from serving him and raising our 8 sons and only one daughter. And, as my husband says, we're not done yet! I am certainly enjoying all of the gifts that God has seen fit to bestow on me and it's impossible to imagine any way in which my life could be happier.

I think "evolution" is a rather unpleasant word, but, nevertheless have no doubt that, for example, a manatee was slightly different 6000 years ago when the Earth was created.
I know few True Christians who do not hold by the "Theory of Punctuated Smiting" as outlined originally by our very own Bobby-Joe:

Puzzled by these rapid changes in otherwise static world science has puzzled long and hard over it and offered many theories on the matter. Darwinists have cynically used this of proof that magical animals that give birth to children that bear no resemblance to their parents. Obviously magic is not something rational good and true Christians can accept.
Well finally Christian science has an explanation; Punctuated Smiting. In essence this exciting new theory offers a comprehensive explanation without resorting to naturalism or other pagan superstitions. It takes biology out of the dank dungeon of secularism and into the light of God’s sweet reason.
It goes like this;God creates a species for His ineffable purpose.
The Species angers God for some sin it commits.
God is wrathful and destroys the species.
God repents of His wrath, creates another species that is slightly different.
God replaces the smoted species with it. This why their species change appear to happen so fast! In the blink of an eye God sends His angels to annihilate every member of species without mercy and then in the next blink replace it with a similar one. With His perfect, unending love for His creation God removes what it bad and replaces it with the good, until He decided that good has sinned and must be liquidated.
Punctuated Smiting is just simple good Christian science and that is why we Christians accept it.

There you are dressed like a 17th century money-lender, talking about change and progress (as if they were good things) and you are trying to persuade us to adopt atheism... I have a suspicion who your master is and what your agenda amounts to, and neither is very pleasant.
