So if they were choices, how come they look physically different, and lack certain bones/muscles etc.?

They are cursed by God for their insolent crimes against Him.
If they would only love and obey God, He would not punish them.
Exodus 15:26 (King James Version) 26And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Wait, I'm not sure where you are going with this. People get diseases, after they were born. They were once healthy.
But people with Downs syndrome are BORN with this disease. They haven't done anything wrong yet...
And why are you saying that someone with Downs syndrome can't "love and obey" God?

Well sure I don't deny that you can get some of them to work hard. We used to have ol' stupid jimmie do yard work for us at the church, but I finally had to let him go because he was taking a dump in the flowerbeds.
Actually I had to get Brother BJ and his boys in security to run him out of town because he kept coming back.

That is called a 'Bobber'.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

er it was created because people were worshipping him (and still are).
Trisomy disorders [sic] are not a disease - they are demonic possession. As the learned Pastor has pointed out such demonic occupation often occurs in utero. God is quite clear on this and has commanded many such demoniacs to be hacked out of their mothers' bellies and .. well He doesn't say what to do with them next: JOB DONE. That is how much God loves us (and hates them).

There could be a couple of Biblical explanations for this. One, the retard may have been touching itself in the womb. Or maybe it was aroused by its mother's birth canal, both disgusting possibilities that surely offend the Lord.
On the other hand, maybe it is being punished for the sins of its father, or its father's descendants.
Exodus 20:5
King James Version (KJV)
5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Clearly, my opinion isn't valued (really, why would it be) in this thread after receiving an infraction. I'll cease my challenging, but with one final comment.
What if a person with Down's syndrome is simply a person with sub-average intelligence? Would the world be a better place if we treated them like human beings?

(idiomatic) What makes you happy;
I was basically saying "Do whatever you want, I'm fine".

If it's all the same with you I'll follow God's commands and advice.
Nehemiah 10:29 They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;

But how are Christian down syndromes created?
Example:
I know a family, who worship God and have done all their life.
Go to church whenever they can, constantly spread the good doings of Jesus, and all that mumbo jumbo.
They love all their neighbours, never heard them swear or use the lrods name in vain, both straight and was both born in the same environment when they was younger.
The male is a vickar/pastar whatever you like to call them for his local Church.
They've been married and at 30 years old and been married for 10 years they decided to have a child, turns out... this child has down syndrome, explain that to me...
He's a man of God, and yet his child has this disease, and you say it only happens to the sinners.
Ever stopped to think your all the sinners for how you treat people?
Anyone who goes against your doings you strike them down and leave them,
You think if Jesus was like that in them days he would of recieved this much popularity.
But anyways,
ANSWER ME THAT QUESTION
HOW DOES THAT CHILD HAVE THE DISEASE.

This is preposterous. Down Syndrome is not a choice anymore than Huntington's Disease or cancer is. Our bodies are cursed by the fall and this affects who we are, as in the case of the mentally handicapped. This forum's horrible pre-judgment is incredible. Jesus loves those who are infirm. You think because you read one book, the bible, you know all the answers. Medical books and doctors teach us things too and the bible teaches us to love the weak and the sick. Please read more of the Bible and you will see that this foolish and rash lashing out at everything we know from the medical community is misplaced anger.
"By grace are ye saved through faith"
Ephesians 2:8
