                            Here is hard evidence that rational thinking is of the devil:
                            Individual differences in the tendency to analytically override initially flawed intuitions in reasoning were associated with increased religious disbelief. Four additional experiments provided evidence of causation, as subtle manipulations known to trigger analytic processing also encouraged religious disbelief. Combined, these studies indicate that analytic processing is one factor (presumably among several) that promotes religious disbelief.

                                    I can tell the users of this sites view of "hard evidence" and mine differ slightly

                                    and comments like dont think just believe, i love them, how naive can someone be, if something doesn't stand up to rational thought you think there might be a reason why?

                                        What do you mean "stand up to rational thought"? That makes it sound almost as if rational thought is some kind of objective measure or something. But we know it's not. One might as well have their ideas "stand up to the PMS rantings of the crazy Cat Lady down the road."

                                            Paul is a perfect example of how a Christian shall take doctrines and theology: thinking and reasoning.

                                                I've only read the Bible cover-to-cover about 11 times and I seem to have missed that part.
