Re: Do Crayons Have to be Shaped Like a Penis?

Exactly right! Kids are gonna just use it to colour in. if the adults have their own deep seated troubles, then get custom made ones for your kid to use!

That's kinda the point I was trying to make. Children are innocent, Adults are not, it is much easier to image a crayon looking like a penis as an adult because our minds drift towards sexual thoughts if not kept in check.

The OP has obviously never seen a penis. I guess you guys had better keep your kids away from pencils, pens, flashlights, table legs, chair legs, carrots, cucumbers, pickles, bananas, oh and don't let them see the shifter in your car, all those object slightly resemble penises.

    I think you're onto something!

Here's Crayola's True Christian(tm) Colors set. They come in mighty handy at the Monthly Visitor; we've been the proud recipient of advance copies of Sarah Palin's autobiography.

That first crayon is a personal favorite!

Watch who you call sir, the correct way of speaking to a female is MA'AM.

And ohh of course not, it isn't how it's pronounced or not, as long as you get your satisfaction about being all "Civil Rights Activist" in right?

What I prefer the color be, is what the color is BLACK. or as it is in Spanish NEGRO.

Although.. I can start calling it Muy Negra for you if that would meet your satisfaction, however, I probably wont, I dont bend to the self righteous athiests who like to destroy Christian America

    E.G. Black=Noir

Maybe the product is different in Canada.

I figured Professor Tyeisha X would be demanding Lesbean shaped crayons to subvert male patriarchy or something . . .

Actually, believe it or not, I don't think black crayons should be changed to "African-American". African-American is a superior race of humanity, not a crayon color.

I do take an issue with one facet of the black crayon. I have noticed that Crayola has decided to cater to the Hispanic populace by making all crayons bilingual. This is a good thing. Everything in America should be bilingual so we can overcome the English-speaking hegemony that plagues America and keep our racial consciousness from being awakened. It is my understanding that black crayons are printed as "black" and underneath, "negro". I know that negro is the Spanish word for black, but it is also a racist anachronism that defeats the civil rights progress of African-Americans. School children are learning that "negro" is an acceptable word and it instills in them the tendency to commit hate crimes later in life.

I believe Crayola should change the Spanish word for black to something like the Spanish equivalent of "extremely dark" to change the consciousness of impressionable youth and catapult our civil rights movement into the 21st century.

What's next that the PC activists are going to do? Change black crayons to say "African-American"? Brown crayons going to say "Non-white Hispanic/Latino"?

I think crayons should have some sort of toxic, yet non-lethal, material in them so kids will learn their lesson if they eat them. This might steer them away from other phallic shaped things, like hot dogs and brats.
This is a good point. I don't see what the big brouhaha is over poisonous toys or lead-based paint on toys. If it keeps toys cheap, we should be allowed to buy them. Parents shouldn't have to buy more expensive toys that comply with safety regulations. Just tell Junior not to put them in his mouth, and if he does, and has to be rushed to the intensive care unit...it's a lesson learned!

I also think we should get rid of pink and purple and overly bright crayons. This encourages children to start homosexual art at a young age. We need drab, dull colors so kids don't get tempted by "creativity".

Even worse, Sister Glendora, is now that Obama is president, they are marketing negro-sized crayons:

This is a real danger to our children. The only way to deal with this problem is to chop it off at the source:

I don't think people recognize them as anything but coloring utensils.

They're pointy just like pens/pencils are. Even if they're square, they will eventually elevate to the shape they are now from use.
