That's exactly it, Sister, the survival strategy of the catholic church is exactly that, brainwash from birth children born to catholic parents who also were brainwashed from birth.

Their other strategy in the past was forcing to convert and killing those who wouldn't, but it seems this policy has been discontinued in the last few centuries.

I've never attended a "mass" and am not suggesting anyone listen to that

But there's a good likeness of the inner pope/cardinal, together with the
music, who on earth would ever go in a catholic church unless brainwashed
from birth? Listen around 9:26 ↓ for a good précis of any cardinal's sermon.

Our Lady of the Broken Teapot? Yep, that sounds exactly like something these deluded souls would worship.

I don't know whether self-promoting weasels get new hats from one generation to the next (the frippery in question looks pretty new) but what on earth is on that abomination's head?

Leviticus 11:29 These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind

Oh, just stop that silly nonsense, Mr. Rovagnati. The devil has you hoodwinked, and you don't even care! Satan knows the verses so well, and he has succeeded at getting you to twist things. Well, it won't work in your favor, and you should be very afraid. Don't say we did not warn you about the evils of worshipping statues, or ring-kissing. Or diddling little boys in the confessional booths. You will have to get up very early in the morning if you want to fool the servants of the — the — here at !

Now, then, what will you say when you hear these words, in regard to your defamatory statements and rejection of the commands from the , which you so obviously enjoy ignoring?

Matthew 25:41 "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:"

Matthew 25:46 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

That is reassuring. I gather you only pray..for deceased persons, rather than endure forced baptism on their behalf.

Saints do exist, of course. Otherwise how could they emerge from their graves and walk around? Now if you met one of those, sure, you could ask her to do something for you: let's say it was Deborah: you might ask her to make you some toast.

Judges 4:1a 4 5b ..the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD . . . And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time . . . the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

That took place under a tree. Graveyards often have trees.

Matthew 27:50 52 53a Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost . . . And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves

They recuperated over a day or two then went into town where people could interact with them. If Deborah were one such, and you met her today, she could make you some toast. Have you read "Siddhartha" by Hermann Hesse? There's an interesting character called Kamala, on a similar path to enlightenment as yourself – although starting from the other side of the forest, as it were. She would be able to make toast too, if she were real and you met her, but no doubt others activities would present themselves. The author does not claim she became a Christian (the story is set around the time of Pythagoras) but if she closed her eyes and sat there glowing (as Indians are often depicted) she would not be obsessing over an idol, I suppose.

Psalm 149:5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

    Short answer: Yes.

In addition to Mary, they worship the Qur'an. This is explicitely stated in their "Catechism" CCC 841, as follows:
The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
Let us assess how Jesus feels about this:

    John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Case closed. Gates of Hell wide open to each and every Catholic idolater.

PS: They also worship pre-pubescent tallywhackers.

Good observation, Sister Mirzza, on how close Padre Rovagnati comes to violating the trademarked name of the sinful Mormons. He comes close also to violating the True ChristianTM owned exclusively by Landover Baptist Church. It is well known that rogue group called Catholics broke away from Landover Baptist long ago because a group wanted to drink more wine. Is there enough room in hell for all the fake religions?

Worshiping a drunkard. That's Catholicism in a nutshell.

Thank you for your attention, and always rember to follow what Jesus says.
Father Rovagnati, your "vow of poverty" has you living in a rectory with servants to cook, clean and tend to the property. Priests don't get their hands dirty or perspire. No work in a garden required. If you were Catholic living in a house, you would be required to worship the statue of Mary in your garden. If I recall properly, the main Catholic prayer is "Hail Mary, full of chianti."
