I'm with you, Brother Prayer. When Musk is no longer on the team we need to listen for instructions on electric cars from both President Trump and God. Just a day ago God set a shipload of electric cars on fire and sank it. I'm taking note of that.

I softened my stance on them a little after Elon Musk endorsed Trump. After all the most important thing to me in picking out a product is the political affiliation of the owners.

Crypto I used to not be a big fan of it until the Trump coin came along now I think it's great.

I think you are absolutely correct, Mr Mayor Hold. There is without a doubt a certain idolatry going around with electric cars that has not been seen before when we were purely Gasoline. People have gone waltzing around with those unnaturally-looking things. I can tell that automakers are making a mockery out of the American auto industry by going out of their way to put very uncanny design features in their cars, so that spectators can really tell that its owner is a participant in this ritual. I feel compelled to add in that my neighbor bought one of these vehicles, and let's just say he is the kind that likes bagels.

I believe it also ties into those who worship the planet and the sun; electric car owners drive their cars believing that they are saving the planet (in actuality, electric cars are more harmful to the planet). They are honoring their god (lowercase G) by participating in this virtue signaling. I would advise my fellow Christians not to participate in this behavior.

Over the weekend, Trump said, “I’m for electric cars. I have to be, because Elon endorsed me very strongly. So I have no choice.”

Ugh I HATE silent cars creeping around our streets. Worse than wind turbines.

started a topic Are Electric Cars a Form of Idolatry

Are Electric Cars a Form of Idolatry

Christians have struggled to escape idolatry since the time of Moses. Some Christian scholars say idolatry is at the heart of every sin. Moses scolded his followers for making a golden calf. The game of idolatry has never changed. Take something you have great affection for, in Mose's time it was gold, then making into something alleged to have mysterious or spiritual powers, a calf.

In our country we love our cars. People park their cars in front of their houses so passerbys know those inside have a nice car. This was not especially harmful when the car engines used the gasoline God have put the ground for us and the cars made a noise telling us an engine was under the hood. Then, in the course of a few short years, the cars we loved started moving around without a sound. People of otherwise sound minds began to see their cars as something greater than just some physics. These cars have become the idolatry that made Moses mad.

You think idolatry is rare these days? Think again
