Re: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Fake Illness and a Lame Excuse for Laziness

Perhaps, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is real because I get a lot of it. Theoretically I can trace it to one of my weaknesses, my compulsive sexual habits and a real succubus that inhabits my body. This demon saps all the living energy and does not let me focus on productive activities.

You can't blame all your problems on demons. However, you CAN blame all your problems on not reading the KJV 1611 Holy Bible.

      Get cracking!
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
      Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

Young lady, as dear Brother Lukes has so kindly pointed out, you need to read the -- faithfully and diligently! And please don't give me any excuse about how you're too tired to even open the Book. And don't bother whining about how it's hard to understand the way it's written. The good equipped you with a mind, and it's not fault that you are not making progress. You will find that once you put your "all" into reading the Holy Scriptures, then you will receive blessings from Almighty, which He promises so mightily:

Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

But, first of all, before you receive those blessed assurances, YOU have to do some groundwork, and that means to read the Scriptures every chance that avails you! Please, do let us know how you're getting on -- we look forward to being pleasantly surprised with words of encouragement from you.

As promised I read a few passages from Genesis (I love that word. Isn't that a rock band starring Phil Collins, from the 80s)

I am so confused by the 4th verse. How can you divide light from the dark? I just did an experiment with a flashlight. All I see a shadow on the wall where the light beams. Why doesn't the Bible passage mention a shadow?

It hurts my brain so much that I need a Menthol cigarette but I promise you I will get back to reading more.

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness

Young lady, I have no idea about the name of any rock & roll band, even those that may or may not be named after Books within the . For your information, my idea of music is whatever the local Salvation Army band might be playing so I have no interest in noise other music. Anyway, onto your other concerns.

Considering that you're stuck at the fourth verse in the entire , I suspect that the article might take you a bit of time.

And, please, do not smoke. Heavenly days, no! Your body is not meant for indulging in practices that are unhealthy or otherwise disgusting, and that applies to smoking of any kind.

            I Corinthians 6:19, 20:
9 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Good Heaven! I've just noticed the time. I'm hosting a 4th of July lunch tomorrow and I must get to the store to get some fresh eggs for the making of my mayonnaise. Should you not receive a reply from me in the next little while, it's because I'll be busy with my preparations. Until then, happy reading, Miss Chubbs.

Thanks I'm gonna check it out for sure. I will confess it rightaway. I can't read very quickly as I don't understand the meaning of so many words which I don't have to use in my daily life. Looking up a dictionary is painful, I'd rather have a colonscopy (Hooray I used such a big word! Congratulations to me).

It's a habit a carryover from Europe. You see in Europe they smoke everywhere, on the porch, outside cafes, churches (if there's any church attendees), schools, bus stations, even gas stations. Everyone smokes from school-going kids to eighty-year old ladies.

Unfortuantly it would take a while for me to quit this habit. I know it isn't nice.

Why can't Jesus Christ use simpler words. What's with all the "ye" and "thou", if I talk that way in the Bronx or Trenton (it's like the Watts or the East Coast), see how long that will last me!

Dear Mr. Chubbs: I do apologize for my error in addressing you previously. Without a photo avatar on your profile, I assumed that you are female. Then, reading through a few of your postings, I had wondered if you are a confused transsexualistic type of person questioning your identity. Regardless, you've cleared that up, somewhat, but I must say that I am concerned that you've had "routine" drug overdoses. This is why you need to trust in completely.

I may missed something in the other postings, but did you say that you are, or are not, truly saved? Are you redeemed by the precious of the Lamb? Have you asked to forgive you of your disgusting sins? Have you decided that you will follow , in repentance and service? If the answer to any of those is "no","not sure" or "maybe", then you need to get down to basics and get saved. If you would like some help from one of our Godly pastors, then I'm sure that someone would be more than happy to help you.
                  Sincerely, Isabella W.

Dear Chubby: That's nice that you are interested, but having nice intentions will not get you into Heaven to avoid the wrath of Almighty . Only those who are truly saved and washed in the of the Lamb will escape the fires of , and it is that eternal damnation that you so surely deserve.

Revelation 21:8 " But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

As for your statement that we need to "cut" you "some slack", if you don't like us for telling you the Truth about the love of , then you can always complain to when you stand before on Judgment Day. As for people on this sanctified site "being so mean" to you, that is utter rubbish. People here have been very interested in what you've had to say. We are only telling what you need to know, based on the many truths within the , and yet you continue to complain and reject the truth.

Because God was not referring to shadows. When He does, it says "shadow" which is one way we know The Bible is true. Light is one thing. Darkness is something else. There are different types of darkness. Shadows are a third thing, for example when God moved the sun backwards in the sky, witnesses recorded how observed shadows stopped moving in their usual direction (as on a sundial) and started moving in the reverse direction. This is not a sliver of thick darkness stuck on one side of a stick. It's a shadow.
II Kings 20:8-11 Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees? And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees. And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
