    Re: Nature makes me sick

It's the sin that's the problem. Nature used to be perfect but now is blasted with sin.

Could the reason be to cook up rational explanations for why sin is not real?

So, so true. Nature was beautiful before Eve succumbed to the blandishments of the snake. I mean, the snake wasn't so pretty, but Nature got really disgusting right after that.

Almost - it reminds us of pollution - the pollution of sin. Here in the ant we see just how awful the contamination of the whole world with sin has become, far worse than mere thorns and thistles brought on by Adam's need to till the soil for food. God made sure it wouldn't be easy but Jesus was working retroactively so Adam didn't need to gnaw his legs off to get to Eve. I suppose legs would be the human equivalent of wings. None of this happened before Eve was persuaded she knew better than God. It's right there in The Bible.

Right you are Mayor, and in addition all the food necessary to make meat (wheat, corn, rice, soybeans, etc.) don't rely on bees for pollination. Humans won't die if all the bees are wiped out - just like we're still here and all the dinosaurs are gone.

No, this thread was about ants - and what happens to males with the "Queen". It reminds me to be grateful that Hillary Clinton is not president.

Sorry to disappoint, but if you want to talk about "pollen" (a disgusting topic that involves the spilling of seed) you're free (so far) to start your own thread.

All insects are ungodly, uncouth creatures that serve no purpose. Did you know there is an insect species of weevil or something that, when you separate the eggs from the mother within her sight, the mother will gather back the eggs to her. If you do it again, she will again patiently go to gather her brood. If you do it too many times, her frustration will overcome her and she will eat them all and then walk away like nothing happened. I mean, I can see where she's coming from, but a True Christian(tm) would never actually eat all her children to be free. And then walk away. And start a new life.

started a topic Nature makes me sick

    Nature makes me sick

I was watching a video about ants. Apparently the large male ants have to tear off their own wings to be able to crawl inside the nest to mate with the Queen then get eaten by the female workers. It turned my stomach honestly, I can't believe scientists are allowed to put out this kind of propaganda.
