    Why does God exist?

    If you believe that the Universe exists because God put it here then my question is why does God exist. If your answer is that God exists because the Universe would have never have existed without God, then why did God create the Universe? If your answer to that is because God loves us and wants us to exist my question is, why does God love us?

    Good questions, I myself have questions, but I was told that there are somethings we won't know until we are in haven or hell. Not the answer I was looking for but thats the answer I got.

      God has always existed and always will.
      His plans are not for mere humans to understand.

      Can you answer these correctly:
      Why do you think YOU exist?
      And just who are you, really?

      Probably not.
      So how then could you ever begin to understand God??

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Before this time there are no references of God being created or born, so he must have always been there already. In the Bible (KJV1611) Genesis 1:31 states the following; And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. Now, 'every thing that he had made' also refers to mankind, which apparently God thought was very good. Perhaps this could explain why He loves (at least some of) us...

                  Oh, and Nightcrawler, God exists because God exists. That is why He calls Himself "I AM".

                  Note that He does not call Himself, "I AM Because" and list a bunch of reasons to explain Himself to His creation.

                  To answer your next query, humans exist because humans exist. YOU ARE. God made you because HE FELT LIKE IT.

                    Oh dear, I nearly missed this Thread whilst I was busy trying to save dear Kiki.

                    What you should be asking yourself is why God allows YOU to exist. I'm sure he's going to kill you soon for asking such dumb questions.

                    It's simple:
                    The Bible is God's word.
                    The Bible exists.
                    Therefore if the Bible exists and was written by God then God must exist too.

                    It's as true as ... as...as...well, me sitting here Praying for your Soul.

                              No.
                              Because Adam wasn't born, but created.. and earth isn't alive either.
