a. Wrong again, G-Baby. Ozone is formed by ultraviolet solar radiation and its effect is to block solar radiation of less than 290nm from reaching the earth. It produces a temperature maximum at 50km (stratopause/mesopeak). It does not contribute to "Global Warming" and, if anything, reduces temperatures in the lower atmosphere by blocking ultraviolet radiation from reaching the earth. Ultraviolet radiation is also harmful to life, and thus shields the earth from this radiation as a secondary role.

b. Wrong again, G-Baby. O3 only absorbs in the ultraviolet region. Even accounting for Planck's constant, the other gasses in the chart absorb much more energy over the entire spectrum of solar radiation.

c. Wrong again, G-Baby. Water vapor accounts for about 90% of the "greenhouse" effect (in the form of 70% water vapor and another 20% for clouds). CO2 accounts for between 4.2% and 8.4% of earth's "greenhouse" effect. Water vapor also has absorption windows overlapping those of CO2, and the effects of CO2 are logarithmic, not exponential.

d. Wrong again, G-Baby. The question was the temperature of the earth without an atmosphere. The moon (which does not have an atmosphere) has surface temperatures of -387 Fahrenheit at night to +253 Fahrenheit during the day.

2. Congratulations, G-Baby. You finally got one out of 5 correct. That gives you a score of 20%, which if graded on the curve (like the LIEberals like to do) with your other imbecile friends here, might just merit you a passing grade.

Oh yea of little faith, rejecting the Bible (KJV1611) without ever reading it, and then placing your faith in so-called "science", without ever reading and understanding it as well. You might as well just kneel down and accept Al Gore as you lord and savior right now.

The first graph was taken from Wallace & Hobbs (John M. Wallace and Peter V. Hobbs) book "Atmospheric Science", which you will find has been the definitive book on the subject for over 30 years and is now in its second edition (and you will also find it in the curriculum of many college level courses).

The second graph is for your interpretation and it is not necessary for you to know the source (this is a test question - although it is widely available on the Internet).
