Actually this isn't a new theory. If you actually had even a grade 10 education you'd know that this "theory" (It's actually a fact) has been around since like the 1700's.

Pretty basic really. Stars explode and send out interstellar gas. Said gas coalesces into a sun with a solar system which includes planets. Even my 12 year old brother knows that guys. But I guess I live in Canada where, you know, there's actually education.

To tie up a loose end, you don't have to get a sample of the sun to know what it is made of, you just have to use a spectrometer and look at the light. Duuuhhhhh
