From what I've heard, they are still trying to catch one.
Those Critters have legs and move a darn sight faster than the usual no-legged, non-talking variety.
Why do you think you never see them in any Zoo??

Actually they are only searching for the Bones. I expect the Africoons used them for some sort of Witchcraft Voodoo stuff.
