This post deals more with the science behind the End Times and the Tribulations than Creation Science, but in the absence of an End Times sub-forum, I figured this is the best place. My middle school science classes are studying earthquakes and volcanoes this month, and I would like to share with you some of the material from my lesson plans.
As you may be aware, the LORD created the Earth such that the fiery depths are encapsulated by the so-called “tectonic plates” of the Earth’s crust, which have continually shifted for the last ~5000-6000 years as the lava and sulfur gases from Hell exhaust along the margins. The phenomena we think of as volcanoes and earthquakes are commonly associated with the boundaries between tectonic plates. Incidentally, Iceland is situated directly atop one of these boundaries. That pagan land is a veritable gateway of Hell itself, but I digress.
We have seen the LORD issuing His Righteous Judgment using geological force twice this very year alone! First, the negroids in Haiti got theirs for making a pact with Satan to gain independence from their European betters (even if they were French…), and then the Chileans were smote for, well, being uppity darkie papists. The LORD will be ramping up his use of earthquakes and other Divine Tools as we rapidly approach the End Times.
(Note: This passage makes it clear that the Israelites will flee through a newly formed valley when the Mount of Olives east of Jerusalem is cleaved in twine by the Power of the LORD during the Battle of Armageddon… this is presumably after they accept Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior.

The tectonic plate boundary of principle interest for End Times Prophecy is the Dead Sea fault, which is what we geologists term a transform, or strike-slip fault. It is interesting to note that the recently triggered Enriquilla-Plantain Garden Fault in Haiti and the San Andreas Fault in California, which the LORD will undoubtedly utilize to smite the sodomites and sodomite-enablers of California in due time, are also strike-slip faults. Glory! The LORD clearly has practice with these particular Divine Tools. The Dead Sea fault is shown in its regional tectonic setting in the figure below. It is a continuation of the Red Sea and East African Rift System, which has opened up the Red Sea over the last several thousand years (although the rate of spreading has greatly slowed since about the time of Moses).
Notice that this fault runs north-south just a short distance from Jerusalem! Sodom and Gomorrah were located in the area to the south of the Dead Sea, and the Biblical Record of fire and brimstone raining on the wicked cities (see Genesis 19:24-25) is consistent with volcanic/tectonic activity near a fault line. Indeed, the existence of the Dead Sea itself is attributable to a cataclysm about the time of Abraham (http://www.varchive.org/itb/deadsea.htm). Coincidence? I think not. The LORD tells us in Revelation 11:13 and 16:18 that the Dead Sea Transform Fault will be the epicenter of at least two more great earthquakes, and other phenomena such as the cleaving of the Mount of Olives and volcanic activity can also be reasonably expected to emanate from this fault. It is very likely that we’ll be seeing increased earthquake activity along this fault line as God prepares to unleash the Great Quakes of the Tribulations, so be keeping an eye out! (Note: The Earth will be so devastated during the Tribulations that its condition will be comparable to its condition before the Creation! Without form, and void… compare with Genesis 1:2.)
The condition of the Earth at the end of the Great Tribulation will be one of complete and utter destruction at the hands of global war, geological forces, and plagues. Such is the Wrath of God. But because of Jesus’ unconditional love, the Earth will be restored!
Isaiah 65:17-22 (Note: These are the same events of Revelation 20 and should not be confused with the “new heaven and earth” of Revelation 21, where there is no more death for God’s elect.)
The above Scripture from Jeremiah and Isaiah have serious implications for Creation Science and what constitutes “without form, and void” and the similarities and differences between “creation” and “restoration/regeneration”, but that is another thread (and the lesson plan for May).
The wheels were set in motion when the Joos were “encouraged” to return to Israel, where they will rebuild the Temple. And when they do, get ready for some Godly “geology in action!” Glory!

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
(Note: a clear reference to a supervolcano such as the one at Yellowstone)
Isaiah 34:6-9
The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
(Note: Idumea was the land of the Edomites to the south of Judah during Greco-Roman times. This land is situated directly atop the Dead Sea fault discussed below!)

Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
won't be able to sit in the temple and trigger the Tribulations if that damn dirty mosque is still sitting there! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the Rapture!
