    I apologise and appreciate your respectful reply, as compared to some other people on this forum, however, could I please ask one more question based on this biblical quote. you said:

    Gen 1, 6-8
    "And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day."

    Based on your argument can I just confirm that you are suggesting that heaven was once inside our stratosphere? Based on your argument, i interpret it as heaven was a part of the stratosphere which was in between 2 layers of water? one below us and one above heaven.
    Is this correct?

      First mistake, friend! There is absolutely no need to "interpret" the Bible, unless you're trying to help some poor idiot who doesn't speak American understand what it says.

        This is really interesting research - what began the research in the first place? Honestly, this theory seems a bit far reaching to me. No offense, but I am definitely interested in learning more about this

            If you take a good look you'll see that the Kangaroo and the T. Rex have almost identical body structures, except for the fact that the kangaroo is smaller (most likely due to the massive environmental changes after the Flood).

            If you reread my original post and take a good look at the Biblical references you'll see how this makes perfect sense.

              Why do you need to be so offensive? is it because there is no chapter in the bible for you on internet etiquette? You cannot say some poor idiot that doesnt speak american, especially seeing as the bible was originally written in Hebrew. Shouldn’t Hebrew scholars call you idiots because they have to translate it to “American” or English (american) as it is more commonly known.

              I am simply asking questions trying to piece together your comprehension of certain things.... yet you in your posts interpret the bible so you can tell people to boycott Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream. I am positive that there is no mention of this in there, as well as other peoples interpretation on this site to say that God hates Sweden... These are interpretations, not proofs.

                The Bible has plenty to say about proper conduct. I think the most relevant passage to this discussion is what it says about fools and those who aid and abet their foolishness:

                2 Corinthians 11:19-31

                King James Version (KJV)

                19For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.

                20For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

                21I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

                22Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.

                23Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

                24Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

                25Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

                26In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

                27In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

                28Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

                29Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

                30If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

                31The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

                In what language was the 1611 King James Bible written?

                  The Joos were ONCE God's people before they killed his precious Son. Then he cast them off (Matthew 21:33-43). Do you think God wants to be reminded of his former, wayward people by listening to the throat-clearing language of those disobedient ones? I think not.

                    I apologise, I didnt realise that you thought Jesus was an idiot - clearly he didnt speak American. Seeing as the closest thing to english as early as the 4th century was Celtic. and it wasnt until the 10th or 11th centuries that old english was even beginning to emerge.
                    I find it sad that you are so willing to dish out criticisms and irrational arguments. I asked for biblical quotes on internet etiquette, yet all you did was talk about foolish behaviour, misquote my question, and in doing so inadvertently call your saviour an idiot. Please smite yourself.

                    The 1611 King James Bible was written in Early Modern English, Seeing as America wasn’t colonised then I would say it was written in British not American. Therefore, in Australia, my KJV of the Bible reads Gen18:3 "My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee"
                    If yours reads:
                    "My LORD, if now I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee" then you have a satanic translation!!!! because the Bible was not written in American. This along with all British to American translations is wrong, I just used that as an example as it was the first one I came across.

                    It is fine to quote the bible to explain what you believe but don’t take it out of context by using chunks that are talking about something else. You make yourself seem stupid, and decrease the respect that people have for your faith. Especially when there are so many people willing to help out and answer these questions. Based on the nice and helpful Christians I know, I think you should use your Bible to focus on your own shortcomings. It is good to be a proud christian but don’t think you are better than others... especially “idiots that don’t speak American” I would like you to show me an exact bible quote to back that up.
                    Proverbs 8:13 "The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.”
                    Proverbs 16:18 "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”
                    All you have shown in your post is your arrogance and pride and in doing this you have made yourself look stupid. Perhaps you should focus some time on gaining some education. There have been many years pass since John finished writing Revelation, and I’ll give you a hint friend... He wasn’t in America when he wrote it.

                    I may be banned from posting after this but before I am I would just like to say that I appreciate and thank Brother Alex for his help in answering my question - that is all I asked for. I keep getting red cards for asking questions - I am not trying to cause trouble, I have a very enquiring mind and I appreciate someone taking the time to answer the question rather than cry to admin about what I ask. It seems that rather than spread the word you prefer to run away an cower when you cannot answer a question, yet I thought that was the purpose of a discussion forum.

                      As an Englishman I now refer to my language as American. I believe that America is God's favored country so I think it is only right to pass the language over to them. I now use color instead of colour for example. I now use the word 'fanny' to refer to my wife's back bottom rather than her front bottom. If we all speak American then spreading the good news about Jesus will be easier.
