Re: Autism - the New Gay
Your hate reassures me that we are right and you are wrong.
John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.
Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you [from their company], and shall reproach [you], and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
We don't say it doesn't exist; we just say that God hates it. Yuge difference, there.
1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Please show proof - just a single example of a True Christian™ misinterpreting the Bible will suffice.
Please show me the proof that we don't live the way we preach.
What are we clueless about, dear?
Yes! Because we simply follow the example of Jesus. He was very rude to His followers and random bystanders quite often. He was doing it out of love. It's called tough love. On the other hand, people who are rude to us do it not of love but simply to mock us.
How is following the Bible 100% a disgrace to Christianity?
This is NOT what your cited source says. Read it. You quoted it, so you have to own it now. It says:
tl;dr: science has no idea what causes autism. They think it could be genetic but the way it's supposedly inherited doesn't add up, so environment has to play a role, we just don't know how.
Again: this is from the source you have cited. It's your beloved science.

You know, the one that claims to be God's "favorite" church, even though it's full of retarded radical Christians
that think everything is satanic and that science doesn't exist.

The ones that misinterpret every verse in the bible
to the extent in which they are total hypocrites.
The ones that claim to be "true christians" when they are completely clueless.
But somehow they can be rude to other people, and we can't be rude to them back, because they are "true christians" and they somehow have more authority.
It's literally a disgrace to christianity.
Anyway, yes, it is caused by genetic mutation,
Autism is not a disease but a syndrome with multiple nongenetic and genetic causes... Except for Rett syndrome--attributable in most affected individuals to mutations of the methyl-CpG-binding protein 2 (MeCP2) gene--the other PDD subtypes (autistic disorder, Asperger disorder, disintegrative disorder, and PDD Not Otherwise Specified [PDD-NOS]) are not linked to any particular genetic or nongenetic cause. Review of 2 major textbooks on autism and of papers published between 1961 and 2003 yields convincing evidence for multiple interacting genetic factors as the main causative determinants of autism. Epidemiologic studies indicate that environmental factors such as toxic exposures, teratogens, perinatal insults, and prenatal infections such as rubella and cytomegalovirus account for few cases. Epidemiologic studies report an ASD prevalence of approximately 3 to 6/1000, with a male to female ratio of 3:1. This skewed ratio remains unexplained: despite the contribution of a few well characterized X-linked disorders, male-to-male transmission in a number of families rules out X-linkage as the prevailing mode of inheritance... This suggests that interactions between multiple genes cause "idiopathic" autism but that epigenetic factors and exposure to environmental modifiers may contribute to variable expression of autism-related traits.
