It is not the fact that it is too daunting to read the bible, I love to read actually. In fact i did read the childs version of the bible and even though this is not the bible in its full it still gave me a sense of religion. I'm also doing an O level in philosophy and religion so I think you'll find it's not that I don't have an understanding of religion it is that I do not believe in what you are preaching on this site and so am merely stating my opinion to you all just like you are stating yours.

Also, if I do not read the bible my soul will not be tormented -.- Mind you, at least you say I have a soul, considering I was born ginger that is.

Thankyou and yeah i'm legit, but I don't follow a deity religion to a huge extent. I don't follow the path of God or Jesus, but I also don't walk around killing people or commiting horrifying acts of brutality and such other horrible things. I just try to live life being a nice enough person, I help people, but I also try to understand different people's points of view (hence me saying i'm not here to rant) I'm here because I was invited here by someone who told me they had seen a thread on here saying that all 'goth girls deserve to be raped' and this upset me. As i read further I found more and more things that didn't make any sense to me, and that is why I'm questionong things. I'm not a bad person at all, I just believe in equality and trying to be the best human being you can be. And I don't try to slate the things I don't understand, I try to get a good understanding before i judge.

True Christians(tm) don't "walk around killing people or commiting horrifying acts of brutality and such other horrible things" because the Bible specifically says we must obey the laws of the Land.

Just being "nice" won't get you to Heaven. The Bible tells us that to break one commandment is to break them all.

Personally I have nothing against queers apart from not liking them but God says they should all be killed.

You can see the bind I'm in.

If the law changes (when Mr Romney rompts home) Biblical law will be brought in by his second term, I expect and those queers better be fast on their feet, I'll tell you what.
