  • The Emoji Bible: Desecrating God to an Internet Nerdy Troll!

    THIS. IS. A. WARNING!

All Parents: You children are at RISK!

The original and perfect Word of God as Dictated by Jesus our Lord, the KJV Bible has been corrupted by a new "translation". This new commercially available product has been made to lure unsuspecting home-schooled adolescent youths into idolatry, excessive Interwebs use and eventually succumbing into adulterous sodomy.

it is called the "emoji Bible", a Japanese-American hybrid (Deuteronomy 7:3-4) mixing perfectly good American vocabulary with Japanese smilies. Supposedly, this travesty of the Good Book has been made to make Christianity 'More Approachable' As 'Millennials Leave Church' during these End of times.
"Bible Emoji: Scripture 4 Millennials" was released Sunday in the iBooks store. It's exactly what it sounds like: an adaptation of the King James Version of the Bible using internet slang and emoji, the adorable emoticons frequently used in text messages and tweets. ... “A major goal of this whole process was to take a book that I think is very non-approachable to lay readers and try to make it more approachable by removing a lot of its density."
The 3,282-page emoji Bible includes interpretations of all 66 books in the Bible and advertises itself as a "fun way to share the gospel." But it's already causing controversy, pointing to a larger challenge facing modern Christians: How do you engage millennials without being cheesy?

I always thought "millennials" were those not-quite-True-Christians™ who will stay on Earth come Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:17) but will eventually choose Jesus during the Tribulations (Matthew 24:21) and live with Him on Earth during the thousand-year reign of Jesus (Revelation 20:6). Apparently, millennials are, instead, clueless atheists who cannot read.

This is what this new "translation" looks like:

The authors of this disastrous failure claim that they are trying to get young people read the Bible.
The percentage of adults who identify as Christians has been dropping steadily and quickly, going from about 78 percent in 2007 to 70 percent in 2014, according to data from the Pew Research Center. Only about half of the millennial generation says they definitely believe in God, compared to about 71 percent of the Silent Generation, those born from the mid-1920s to the early 1940s. About a quarter of millennials report attending religious services at least once a week.

Is is really enough to read the Bible looking at these stupid images and then just sail on into Heaven? Of course it is not!

    Matthew 7:21

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

    What
is it that these blasphemers have actually done? Let us see another disturbing image from this document:

    Revelation 22:18-19
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Words taken away and replaced with images (Leviticus 26:1). Images added where Jesus's Words used to be! Here we have the Ultimate Blasphemy. Not only do these "translators" mock the Holy Spirit (Mark 3:29) by trying to meddle with His Dictation, they also disregard the shape of the World (Isaiah 11:12) with the above emoji.

Please, Brethren and Sisters, stay vigilant and control your children's Interwebs usage and their real-life interactions with other people on a constant basis. Never ever let them meet someone of visit the restrooms unsupervised. Vices such as this new threat are lurking behind closed doors and online links.

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer
2 Kings 18:25 - Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.
