When I was a kid, my older sister was kidnapped by Witches. My parents don't talk about it much, mainly because it hurts so badly. It tore our whole family apart.

And just where does the bible say that, sugar? Chapter and verse please. It always amazes me that so many people done have no idea about what the bible really says.

Well said Rachel. I'm into magic myself (I used to activly practice druidism, but I kinda drifted out of the practice, now I mostly just meditate next to a tree or something), so I really enjoy it when a witch or wizard (like myself) knows their stuff. Good for you!

I must say I'm the same. There are so many McPagans and McWiccans out there who have no real idea about what they practice or the true origins etc etc. As much as I have to admire their enthusiasm in defending their beliefs, they don't do themselves any favors when they prove only that they don't know anything about their own supposed beliefs.

My favorite such example is the wiccans who insist that WICCA is thousands of years old. Wicca takes on parts from Pagan beliefs that ARE thousands of years old, but it's only about 50 years old. Yet they will argue until they're blue in the face .
