"I Lost my Religion. What Should I Do?"

Our pastors hear this and I hear it going about a mayor's business. One can read about a trend in the U.S., caused by Democrats by the way, to doubt Jesus and Christianity. When this happens to someone, there is panic. The lost person reaches out to a pastor or mayor looking for a solution. Here is data on how common this problem has become:

If someone comes to you confessing a loss of faith, what can you say to that person? We have instructions in the faith to help you advise such a person. The instructions are found in Galatians 5:13. In this passage, God warns us not to succumb to the flesh. That is, push away the temptation of trans and homerism. Sins of all kinds can land one in hell for eternity, but homerism and trans are the worst.

Someone who claims to have lost the faith is a person who wants to sin. That person needs to be warned about the wages of sin, of spending eternity in fires that never end. Handing such a person a picture of hell will bring that person back to the faith. Here is a picture you can copy and hand to the lost.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

The first question must be "What faith did you have? A - Landmark Baptist as per Landover Baptist Church, or B - Some other grotesque pagan parody pretending to be a religion but run by some loud-mouthed false prophet interested only in your tithes, not your soul?

If the answer is A, and it usually is, then my reply is "Once Saved, Always Saved" - this is inescapable. I would remind him that Church is a bond with God - a promise made to Him; a promise that cannot, in any case, be broken without consequence: Judges 30 is a suitable chapter:

J'g:11:30: And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,
J'g:11:31: Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.
J'g:11:32: So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands.

    [...]
J'g:11:34: And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.
J'g:11:35: And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back.
J'g:11:36: And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.

[The daughter goes about wailing for a few months and...]
J'g:11:39: And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Israel,

If he answers B, I would rejoice and arrange for Landover missionaries to visit at least once a day for a year to show him the true path to Paradise. The suitable verses are

Lu:15:3: And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
Lu:15:4: What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Lu:15:5: And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Lu:15:6: And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
Lu:15:7: I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
