We would never dare presume to say that our guidelines are the only possible ones. God's guidelines are obviously the only possible ones, and several of us have pointed out to you what God's guidelines are, as He has made clear in the Bible. Won't you please say "yes" to salvation by learning and following those guidelines?

So you're not a Christian? That was obvious from the start. Now you want to be an emo kid? Dangerous path not only from the standpoint of your eternal salvation but from the standpoint of you ever becoming a functioning adult.

The A.V. 1611 Bible has all the information you need to not only become Saved, but to live your life in happiness, as an adult.

So dry your tears, pick up an A.V. 1611 King James Bible and start reading. I'm sure the Pastors and True Christians will help you along your path.

Son, you have certainly over reacted. I understand why, but the revelation of the "why" will be painful for you.

You've grown up in a generation where you have been coddled. You have never had your ego bruised. You've never been taught how to win, or more importantly, how to lose.

Everyone here has accurately quoted the Bible and demonstrated what True Christianity is. It goes against what you have been coddled to believe.

Time to stand up and be a man. Learn from us, or not. It is your choice, but if you choose to turn away, Son, you're going to have a very long and unpleasant life. Not be cause Jesus hates you, but because you never were taught to be an adult.

    Dear friend:

Christianity is a loving religion. We have enough Christian love for you that we've taken the time and effort to warn you, using Scripture, away from your current path, which will lead you to hell. Isn't that what loving Christians should do? What are we doing that is at all different from what Scripture commands?

Want to back any of your assertions up with Scripture? Oh that is right, you don't read The Bible. That's why you are a christian, becuase you know better than Jesus.

I can't really make out what you're trying to say except you seem angry with us for some reason. Why are you getting all emotional? We answered your objections with Bible quotes and flawless logic. Why does this upset you? Did you not come here to learn from us? We are teaching you.

I honestly think this tantrum of yours is unwarranted. We didn't do anything to you.

I notice that below you quote Matthew 7:1. Does this apply to you, or have you an exemption? Further God Himself calls homer-practice “an abomination.” Are you above Him? How does Fred use Christianity as a weapon when all he does is quote the Bible and God’s Word?
I believe in God and Jesus.
You have missed out The Holy Spirit, and that is serious.
I'm what most Americans would consider a Christian.
Unfortunately “most Americans” are not versed in the Bible – and neither are you. So who would they be to say whether you were Christian or not?
[…]You guys need to stop judging people on their eternal fate based on the words I type here as you guys will never get to know me. We'll probably never have a face to face communication with one another.

"Judge not, that you be not judged"

Now this is interesting. You are clearly only vaguely Christian, you believe that God is loves everyone and that toleration is His word. You could not be more wrong – you need to read the Bible (KJV1611) wherein you will see:

1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

The staff and congregation of Landover are spiritual.

I'm only 16 years old and just because I have a light hearted naive attitude toward Christianity, you don't have to kill me over it.
We wish to save a soul from eternal damnation.
Its my personal opinion that you don't have to obey every single word of the Bible to be a good Christian who is worthy of a chance (just a chance) at eternal salvation.

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

They're stories, personal accounts, and lessons on how to guide our lives to being a positive impact and inspiration for others in this life.
    Some are, some are not.
And those stories, personal accounts, and lessons have survived thousands of years through wars, persecutions, and famines. They've traveled over oceans, across deserts, and everywhere in between until now Christianity (united) is the most popular religion on the earth. That in itself is remarkable and we got to thank God for that.
And we do – but ALL the Words traveled, and ALL the Words are to be heeded, not just the ones that fit into your idea of what God should be, otherwise you create a god in your own image.

And if I do get to heaven then we will get to know one another in a real conversation in peace. Although I hope it doesn't come to quick, I want at least another 5 years, I am looking forward to that day, brothers and sisters.

    Peace
    Love
    Respect
    Read the whole passage.

1Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

What is clear in this passage is to not judge in hypocrisy. It doesn't say simply to not judge. Judgment is perfectly acceptable, even needed, when not done in hypocrisy.

Matt. 4:4: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Also, by what standard do you know which parts of the Bible you must follow and which you may ignore? Haven't you made that standard, rather than the Bible itself, the holy text of your belief system?

who is worthy of a chance (just a chance) at eternal salvation.
"Just a chance" at eternal salvation means no chance at eternal salvation. Those who are truly saved know that they are:

1 John 5:13: These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

You are not a Christian. You may think you are, but you are not. You've obviously never studied the Bible, and you feel like you can willfully disobey God's laws at your own whim.

"Judge not, that you be not judged"
    --Matthew 7:1
This is something we've gone over many, many times here at Landover. This is not a commandment not to judge, but only a commandment not too judge hypocritically! If you are a homosexual and I judge you for that, I am okay because I am not a homosexual. On the other hand if an adulterer judges another adulterer, that is wrong, and that is the point Jesus was trying to make. Read the following 5 verses carefully and you will see it is about hypocritical judgement.

    Matthew 7:1-5
1Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

I am glad you admit that you are 1) young 2) do have a light-hearted naive attitude. However we are not trying to kill you over it, but rather show you the light of what True Christianity(tm) really is. Most of the things you think about the Bible and Jesus and God are wrong. We are here to show you the naked truth.

Its my personal opinion that you don't have to obey every single word of the Bible to be a good Christian who is worthy of a chance (just a chance) at eternal salvation.
Don't have to obey every single word of the Bible? You admit that it's your personal opinion. So you are willyfully turning your back on what Jesus Himself said...

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Why do you disagree with Jesus?

They're stories, personal accounts, and lessons on how to guide our lives to being a positive impact and inspiration for others in this life. And those stories, personal accounts, and lessons have survived thousands of years through wars, persecutions, and famines. I wouldn't think that 99% of the world having a misinterpreted view of Christianity is anything good. A misinterpreted Christianity is no better than atheism or Satanism or Hinduism...all are paths that will lead to aeternal damnation.
