These Randy Ann fans, with their mere words, are no match for this young lady:

There is a lot of blah blah blah from the objectorists, I have one observation... Did Ayn Rand die for our sins? No! She just died and is now burning in HELL! Give me JESUS anyday.

What do you mean by "should we have?" The Bible tells us not to suffer a witch to live. Some of us still take the Lord's commandments seriously.

represents to me the utmost moral depravity
    Can't be, we're not queers.

Tell me this...how am I to regard your religion as valid if you have no proof to offer?
Have you read the Bible? The whole thing? All the proof you'd want is in that book, if you'd just bother to read it. I experienced the misfortune of reading Atlas Shrugged before I came to my view on so-called Objectivism. Why can't you show us the same courtesy?

What makes it in that respect any different from any other belief
    We're right and they're wrong.

We see movies of faith based religions throuhout the ages in which high priests rip peoples hearts out, roast people alive, have snakes bite children, drink poison en masse, kill the first born etc etc...
We aren't Catholics, we don't do that kind of stuff.

so what makes you so confidently declare that Ayn Rands moral code is arbitrary when faith/religion seems to be the ultimate champion thereof
She ran a cult of personality that claimed to be libertarian. What more evidence do you need that she was a phony?

Rand said only this, that everything that exists exist as something specific
Strange how they didn't give her the Nobel prize for that stunningly brilliant insight.

we have to be concerned with the requirements of our survival, i.e. selfish, i.e. concerned with our own individual needs of survival..get it.
No, we don't get it, because it's stupid. Human beings aren't self-reliant, we rely upon our communities for mutual support. The only people who earn their own sustenance in isolation are hermits. Are you a hermit?

She did not regard it as moral for some to exist on the largess as others
You've convinced me. Let's kick all of the orphans out of the orphanages, those damned greedy kids are bleeding our country dry.

that your basis for condemning her to burn in hell...for merely using her critical powers as a human being
Well that, and denying God, and being a Jewish lesbian and a hypocrite and a phony, and for turning her cult over to the moron Leonard Piekoff, and for not being able to write convincing dialog. Any one of those things is enough to make her fry.

Now that would be arbitrary wouldn't it...even of the God who supposedly blessed humans with these faculties don't you think?
What can we say? God likes some people and hates others. You and the Jewish athiest lesbian cult leader you worship as if you were a sheep fall into the latter category. Hell, you even know that you're a sheep, because you picked the name mutton.

We have all the evidence we need in God's Word, and who could be a more credible witness than God Himself? As for critical thought, you make it sound as though God wanted us to think for ourselves, which He doesn't.

Right you are. They're also going to undo all of the hard work that Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush did to make government smaller and less intrusive. Government is the problem, not the solution, as both of those men ably demonstrated.

Hi...as an unsaved I'm not welcome here according to your welcome mat..but here's the problem I have with this religion thing.

You condemn Ayn Rand and her followers to hell and by all acounts you probably would have been one of the first to light the fire should you have lived in the days when heretics were roasted as a matter of routine.

Now I would have had no beef with this had your beliefs been based on fact (Those pesky conclusions provided by our sensory perception and ability to reason), but that you are willing to condemn someone to burn for all eternity based on no more than hearsay (No proof for the existence of God has yet been offered and the last supposed witnesses have been dead for 2000 odd years now) represents to me the utmost moral depravity.

Tell me this...how am I to regard your religion as valid if you have no proof to offer? What makes it in that respect any different from any other belief, i.e. sun worship, Islam, Catholicism, Judaism etc? It's all based on beliefs and absence of any proof.

We see movies of faith based religions throuhout the ages in which high priests rip peoples hearts out, roast people alive, have snakes bite children, drink poison en masse, kill the first born etc etc...so what makes you so confidently declare that Ayn Rands moral code is arbitrary when faith/religion seems to be the ultimate champion thereof?

Rand said only this, that everything that exists exist as something specific (and she has the evidence of her senses to prove it to you and to me since it's based on the only valid frame of reference possible to human beings, i.e. reason and logic and proof)

She further observed that humans are unique in that their ability to reason remains our only means of survival (once again based on empirical evidence). She also noticed that as it is with all living things we as human individuals have to create our own daily sustenance in order to survive, and therefore we have to be concerned with the requirements of our survival, i.e. selfish, i.e. concerned with our own individual needs of survival..get it.

She did not regard it as moral for some to exist on the largess as others, no matter if sanctioned by a political mob, but she did observe that we are social beings and did not negate the fact that we are benevolent by nature.

Now these are empirical observations on her behalf, and therefore the opposite of arbitrary, as her moral code is based purely on firsthand observation...so is that your basis for condemning her to burn in hell...for merely using her critical powers as a human being.

Now that would be arbitrary wouldn't it...even of the God who supposedly blessed humans with these faculties don't you think?

I tried to read Atlas Shrugged once. Pretty soon, the question stopped being "Who is John Galt?" and became "When will John Galt shut up?"

I do agree with Ayn Rand that we should have low taxes, though. The Democrats are going to ruin the great economy that they inherited from George W. Bush with their tax and spend socialism.

You're a Randroid who doesn't believe in God, so why do you care what is or isn't a sin?

Landover Baptist Faith and Message statement
"The Holy Bible, King James Version 1611, was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy.
