Then you wouldn't be believing in the God of The Bible.

I don't read fanfic. Although there is a friend of a friend who has done some interesting sketches of Harry and Ron - but none of that is in the book, which Lateefah claimed it was.

What if someone believes that God exists, but not Satan? If you promote secularism, saying neither Satan nor God exists, then Satan wins
...but have you read the fanfics?no one in them is having sex

Well said, Tommy!Originally posted by tommy View PostThis clearly proves either atheistic or satanic (which is in fact the same) nature of Harry Potter series.
Secularism(satanism in disguise) is as bad if not even worse than proper satanism, which Harry Potter is full of.
Yes, Satan loves secularism more than overt Satanism!
Our soon-to-be-Saved friend Phoenix is wondering why, I'll bet.
Let's think about it:
If you promote Satanism, you acknowledge and indirectly promote God. After all, God created Satan; you can't have Satan without God. Therefore, people who worship Satan are in danger of realizing their error and coming to God through Jesus (the ONLY route, never mind all those Catholics trying to pray to Scary Mary!).
If you promote secularism, saying neither Satan nor God exists, then Satan wins! His goal is to get people to turn their backs on God. If the people believe that God is some imaginary "Sky Daddy" voyeur, a dime-store imitation of Santa Claus, then they will go to Hell, and that makes Jesus cry!!
Just like Satan wants!

You are simply an intolerant liberal, and liberals are vile fascists renowed for their hatred of free speech. You'd probably think that small children shouldn't even be forced to learn about stories like this, this and this in Sunday School!Originally posted by Rachael Van Helsing View PostWell, I do wish people (including you guys!) would lay off Harry Potter books altogther. What astounds me is that they have no problem with their kids seeing movies with blood and gore, playing violent games on Xbox or PS2/3/whatever or PC, and yet Harry Potter, a kids book is unacceptable???
Ridiculous.

Since Rowling is NOW killing off wizards in her books, isn't she doing the Lord's work?
Maybe she could kill off a few Catholics in her new book, to kind of get back in the Lord's good graces?

He have his own exorcist? So they is admittin' he be possessed by demons? First they had claimed babies wasn't goin' to hell, now they admittin' they pope be demon possessed... maybe tomorrow they's gonna admit that they is pagan chile molestors!
You has been deceived. The Bible say:Originally posted by Lord Lucifer View PostA harry potter fan isnt a whitch directly. He or she is merely a fiction addict.

Of course you wants us to stop attackin' witchcraft. You probably wants us to join you in yo feasts on Christian babies as well, but it ain't gonna happen! Also, the Bible condone violence, but it do not condone witchcraft. I remember when that Passion of the Christ movie had came out and I took all my chillrens to see it. Oh, praise JESUS! That had been such a glurrious movie. I had been so impressed by that that I had took my youngest chillrens (ages 2-7 at the time) to see it every week that it had been in the theater. After every time we had seen it, they was just sittin' there with they eyes 'bout to pop out they heads, they mouths hangin' wide open... and of course, some of 'em was cryin' (no doubt because they love they Savior© so much). But oh, I had been so proud to know without a shadow of a doubt that them little ones had been saved at such a early age. PRAISE JESUS! Still, I wouldn't be caught dead takin' 'em to one of them depraved Harry Potter movies.Originally posted by Rachael Van Helsing View PostWell, I do wish people (including you guys!) would lay off Harry Potter books altogther. Hmm, I actually agree with you. Easy for the catholic church to try and draw attention away from their own atrocities by jumping on the 'let's slam a children's book!' bandwagon.Originally posted by Brother Temperance View PostI think that this skirt-wearing freak is probably desparately trying to distract attention from his cult's latest scandal. Harry Potter is a vile threat to children's souls, but the Catholic "church" is a vile threat to children's souls and rear ends. Just look at this: 'Amorth, who is also the president of the International Association of Exorcists, said the series contains many positive references to "the satanic art" of magic and makes no distinction between black and white magic.' Does the BIBLE make any distinction between black and white magic? No, of course not.
And how long has there been an 'International association of exorcists'?

It doesn't say "is a bad wizard" or "who practices black magic"; all wizards are to be put to death, from the dullest tweenage Harry Potter fan to the arch-sorceror plotting away in the Vatican! Glory!

O, and though you have a realistic picture of the pope there, the thing he is using is refered to as "the force" and not "magic", its a starwars thing I beleve.
And this is making the popularity of the catholic church decrease, and it also attacks the series. Its a win-win situation.

Chief exorcist?????

So what do you land-ovarians think of this? Do you agree with the catholic view here?
Do you have your own 'chief exorcist'?
