I see what you did there. That's cool.
I think you are confusing prayer with meditation. Meditation is as you said, bringing your mind to a blank and relaxing it. What you forgot to add is opening your mind to satan, getting possessed by evil spirits, and consuming large quantities of tofu.

I see what you did there. You tried to slip in your worthless Buddhist notions and you didn't think anyone would notice! Well, I'm on to you, boy. You can't trick me with your college semantics.

Praying is about God and if you can't think of Him when you're praying, then you're probably asleep at the wheel.

If you are in doubt about God's unlimited abilities then your faith is to weak to be helped. All this is your fault!
Hmm, Maybe you are right. I will try harder. It's those bad old Catholic habits that I have trouble shying away from.

Why don't you pray for her to get her sight back?

Why don't you pray for her to get her sight back? Matthew 6:6 "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." Luke 18:27 "And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

That seems to me to be more a case of properly educating your wife. My wife never buys wrong things.

The Lone Star College System is far from a top ranked school son, if you had applied yourself, you might of been able to get into a University.
