Marilyn Manson is a licensed minister with the Church Of Satan. The Church has ten basic rules, or commandments if you will. It is interesting to note that these are merely suggestions and indications of normal humanity. The religion preaches only that one should do what they feel is right, give in to human lust and desire. It's inappropriate for this article to explore the church any further, but it is important to note that Manson himself said he wishes to expose the fallacies of religions to those that are open minded. In this case religion would exclude the breed of Satanism that the Church promotes.
The relevance of his position as reverend to the music isn't just a fleeting notion. The performance of Marilyn Manson is based almost entirely on his wish to promote the ways of the church.

First of all, the Bible was written by humans who were apparently letting God act through them. You aren't trying to say that a force that we can't see picked up a pen and wrote the Bible, are you?And if I don't believe that God exists, then I don't believe the world was created in six days. I believe it took many millions of years to get what we have today. I still want to know how old you believe the Earth is to be.And I never said that it wasn't true. Now if you try to tell me that that is bias, then you have a very different view of bias. Science uses logic and reason and peer review in order to remove any bit of bias from what they study.
