Sir, poor Lisa is many things, but I do NOT consider her to be a harlot. Now that may come as a shock to her, but that is down to other failings that she has, some of which she does seem to do trying to correct.

Thank you for your support, Mr Freddie. I was tempted to use the term "strumpet" but I doubted that she would understand it. "Scruffy tart" was another possibility, but the list is probably endless.

At least she does not deny that she is illiterate, which shows some insight.

So you think I am harlot, scruffy tart, and other derogatory names. I am none of these and take offence that you would say such things.

As for my literacy, you are not perfect either. My dropping of the word was to question on why you refer to me as a wanton harlot. It was not meant for admission that I am illiterate.

I thought I did answer it quite well. I suppose International law gives me the right, since it certainly does not prevent me or consider such a comment illegal.

Using this logic or "International law", it means I can say such things about you.

Ok, I didn't really think you'd take it that badly. Perhaps I shouldn't have referred to you like that. It's just that some of the things I've heard about Baptist girls has led me to generalize a bit. You know -- the way some of these girls brought up in a repressive way can really cut loose...

You have posted this message while I was typing mine. My reference to literacy skills is that no-one is perfect. No matter how good we think we might be. There is nothing wrong in striving for perfection, but will it ever be achieved. Think about how many times a book will get proof read prior to publishing.

We call ourselves Christians because we support the authority of the entire Bible. If we did not accept the entire Bible as being equally authoritive in all its parts, we would be practicing any one of the false relgions out there that claim to be Christian.

This is a pathetic bit of writing. Your knowledge of basic grammar hasn't helped your ability to express yourself, has it?

BTW, there is a golden rule of English grammar. The golden rule is that all the other rules have exceptions to them; and just about everything your schoolteachers told you is crap. The "rules" of grammar you have been taught are rules of thumb designed to help lower-stream students write with a semblance of literacy.

There is no official grammar of English and what grammar books there are contradict each other. English is a living language in a constant state of flux and development. If English didn't change we'd all still be talking and writing the way Chaucer did.

If you really want a basic understanding of how punctuation is used to express meaning, tone, and ideas, start with Fowler's The King’s English, 2nd ed. 1908. But be warned, if you are to make any real progress you will have to discard all the silly bogus knowledge you have already accumulated and start from scratch. This can be hard. It means letting go of cherished notions: but until you accept how pitifully little you know, you will never make any real progress.

Remember that when there is a lot of argument about a word's meaning or spelling or some other form this usually means that a change is taking place.

Finally, let's try to put your post into plain and readable English:
We are fundamentalist baptwit Christians because we accept the authority of the bible in its entirety -- we take all of it literally. If we were to pick and chose those parts of the bible we wanted to take literally and those we didn't, we'd be no better than the many false christians that abound in these dire times.

That is just off the top of my head and is by no means great; but it is much less boring, I reckon, than your tedious codswallop.

Try to get a bit of flow and rhythm into your prose. Try to worry less about the silly punctuation rules you have been spoon fed and concentrate more on saying what you want to in a straightforward conversational fashion.

Since she is confusing aviator with avatar and probably hasn't heard of The Aviator, your attempt at humour will probably be lost on her. And shouldn't you be spending more time attempting to bring people to Christ and con them into tithing, instead of indulging in all this frivolity? Have you taken your eyes off Jesus?
