    Translated to KJV Bible style:

"If the had meant us to freely access the Internet He would have given us web browsers in our heads," said a local pastor, adding "There is absolutely no mention of instant messaging in the KJV Bible and at no point did Jesus Christ, or any of his twelve disciples, ever say LOL, ROFL or PMSL."
Except you posted it from a joke site. That's the issue with you atheists, you'll accept anything that backs up your secular world view without thinking it through or looking at the source.

My point is, this exactly the kind of thing someone from Landover would say, thats all. It's even worse with you guys because NewsBiscuit is a complete satire, while Landover is extremely serious about its business.

I don't like girls who keep SMSing on the telephone here about every other girl she hates. Neither does anyone else here But, its useful occasionally so that your husband or dad can keep a track of where you are every hour of the day, and not get led astray by bad people.

Haha, it's ok, I rarely text and if I do it's to arrange when to meet up with my friends. My dad never uses his though so I don't text him

Who ARE you and why do you think that you can address me as , "Handy"? Where did you even pick up that foolish diminutive?

We here at LBC are very serious in our mission to present the Word of God in its non-edited, non-bowdlerized, non- rinsed-in-fabric-softener-until-it- smells-sweet-and-feels-soft-and-comforting, truth.

The Bible declares the Glory of God and that Glory is described as ,"Great and Terrible". We aren't so silly as to believe cell phones are inherently wicked. Many people choose beautiful Christian music for their ring tones so as to give glory to God.

Please do not associate us, or the words of the Holy Bible with a farce news item. There is nothing funny about instilling the fear of God and establishing Biblical standards as the law of the land.

Of course! He and I chatted this morning over breakfast, but he doesn't really like using a mobile phone to talk. I see his point; they are annoying unless you're arranging something, I find.

Just checking, it would be shame if you did not to talk to you parents.

Yes, there is nothing funny about instilling fear of God. But, that's exactly what Christianity does, talking about hell, damnation and everything. They like to tell little children that if they do not follow the Lord's word, they will go to hell. I am as much against this as you are.

The one good thing is that the words of the Bible is not the law of the Land, but this doesn't mean the conservative Christians are not trying to make it happen. Christianity has evolved to the point where they will not go around killing other people for the sake of religion (as they have done so much in the past centuries), but they still have a condescending attitude towards anyone who does not follow the Bible.

How is any of this a "good thing"? How can a person call themselves a Christian if they don't follow the words of God? That's like being a bacon munching mooslimb or a ham chowing joo. I understand that people can call themselves whatever they want, but just because I call myself a brain surgeon doesn't mean the local hospital is going to let me operate on someone.
