Hello fellow Christians of Landover Baptist Church.

My little brother has fallen victim to the evil, satanistic ways of these games. He does not stop playing them, and watches the show constantly. His room is cluttered with "Pokemon" books and posters, toys, games, t-shirts. He begs for more trading cards and merchandise whenever my poor mother (bless her soul!) takes him to the store with her. He talks about the franchise nearly religiously, and I fear for his eternal soul. Evil parts deleted

That is completely wrong.

A. We follow the laws of this land as the Bible commands us to. We merely think in a more perfect world we could act on what the Bible says.

B. Nowhere ever does it say to kill your own brother unless he tries to seduce you to another god, if he has carnal relations with your wife (they both die), he refuses to marry to widow of your eldest brother and you are the younger or any of the other things that are capital crimes in the Bible.

Pokemon, imo, should not be a capital offense. The first offense might be a day in the pillory. The second offense could be maybe 3-6 months in a boot camp with Christian rehabilitation.
