All True Christians™ know that Osama bin Laden was an influential Muslim leader, respected by Muslims in the Middle East, Europe, and America alike. In fact, Islam is the reason we had to go after this relatively mild mannered individual in the first place.
Bin Laden was under a great deal of pressure from the Jihad loving Muslim world to carry out attacks like those of September 11th, 2001. If it had not been for the expectations of mainstream Muslims, Bin Laden would no doubt have spent his inheritance on European whores. But given Bin Laden's devout Islamic upbringing, and his devotion to the Koran and the Hadith, he really had no choice but to become a terrorist, like every other Muslim.
Bin Laden was really just carrying out the orders of the Koran when he had the WTC, and everyone in it, destroyed.
Below are just a few of the verses calling for Muslims to do what Osama bin Laden is famous for actually carrying out. This is why Bin Laden is a hero to the Muslim world.
Allah is an enemy to unbelievers. - Sura 2:98
On unbelievers is the curse of Allah. - Sura 2:161
Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. - 2:191
Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme. (different translation: ) Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is God's entirely. - Sura 2:193 and 8:39
Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. - 2:216
(different translation: ) Prescribed for you is fighting, though it is hateful to you.

Allah has purchased of their faithful lives and worldly goods, and in return has promised them the Garden. They will fight for His cause, kill and be killed. - 9:111
