wow there are a lot of mormons here, I've seen something that says whisper is banned for life and guaranteed to go to hell. As a true Christian who accepts Jesus Christ as his savior, I can honestly say this website is a bunch of wackadoodles. Personally I would wear the banned for life thing as a badge of honor, as this site is about as Christian as Satan is. To the people who read this and assume all Baptists are like this, please don't compare us to mormons like this. As for the topic at hand, to the writer I say you might as well talk to a brick wall, I guarantee you'll get a better, more intelligent response. mormons like this refuse to be reached by reasonable arguments or even common sense. God disagrees with you: 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

Nonsense. You cannot take just a few words, you have to look at the context! If you look at the context you will see that there are no contradictions in the Holy Bible. It's perfect.

The bible is not meant to be taken literally. There are too many contradictions in the bible to list them all, but here are a few:
EXO 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
ROM 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

He's a LORD of war against his enemies and peaceful towards those who love him. What contradiction?

A contradiction in Moses' personality:
NUM 12:3: "Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the fact of the earth."

NUM 31:14, 17, 18: "And Moses was wroth...And Moses said unto them, "Have ye saved all the women alive? ... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman, ... But all the women children ... keep alive for yourselves."

Meek because he followed the Lord, as for the killing, he was just passing on what God had told him.

And a contradiction as to whether the righteous flourish or die:
PSA 92:12: "The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree."

ISA 57:1: "The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart."

We spiritually flourish like the palm tree, but when we die (perisheth) no secular man cares. Again, what contradiction?

Now if you follow the bible exactly, what do you believe? There are inconsistencies that are so blatantly obvious, and it proves that the bible is a book that is meant to be taken metaphorically. You pretend to shun people who do not follow your Puritan beliefs, but in reality, it seems that you are more pathetic than the people you attempt to ostracize .

I have several friends who are ethnic goths. They are wonderful people and are actually Christian. A human being is just that, a human who is able to express themselves in various diffrent manerisms. The ideal thing about being jumbled into a group labled "goths" means that we don't worry about seing the color of skin or religion, we see expression and beauty. I met a "goth" the other day who dressed in neon colors. She was very friendly and nice. A close friend of mine who is Christian is an ethnic goth is my best friend and has some of the best advice. He doesn't judge me or how I dress or do my makeup. He doesn't judge me because of my music. He knows that it is a form of expression and accepts me for that. Why is it that you people think that a goth=evil? I promice you that it is not so. True there is a bad apple in every bunch, and you could say the same do not deny it because it would be a lie to your God.
