I'm sure that this was supposed to be some sort of insult, however I am quite aware of the misconceptions surrounding the pagan community, so I'm more than happy to answer your questions!

I don't actually perform human sacrifice, as I like, most other modern Pagans practice a more modernized version of Paganism, commonly referred to as Neopagaism (neo meaning new). Most people do practice some form of sacrifice or at least make offerings is some way shape or form! Personally, I like to offer up food or burn incense for the gods!

First of all, my years of research definitely qualify me as above "wannabe." Also, there is no "real" pagan religion, that's just complete and utter bullshit. Paganism is a very, very broad term.

I'm a hellenic pagan, meaning I follow the Greek pantheon and, the last time I checked, unless I was one of the Vestal Virgins or promised to dedicate myself to a specific deity in a manner that is too cult-like to sit well with me, there is no bloodshed or violence required.
I'm quite sure that I'm more of an expert on my own religion than you are.

Secondly, I'd suggest taking care of your plants instead of blaming strangers on the internet for your misfortune.
I wouldn't waste one iota of energy on you; I have better things to do.
