  • Atheist Conspiracy Theories

According to atheists, everything is a conspiracy, and we Christians are behind it all. Atheists cling to their belief in conspiracies despite a total lack of evidence, or in some cases, despite evidence to the contrary. The mind of the atheist is prone to fallacious reasoning and cognitive biases. The atheist is looking for meaning behind tragic events, looking for an explanation for the evil in the world and, ultimately, looking for a scapegoat, someone to blame. The atheist likes to think that he has secret knowledge to which others are not privy. He likes to think that he has figured out what is really going on, while everyone else has been duped, brainwashed. Once an atheist has formulated a conspiracy theory, confirmation bias, communal reinforcement from other atheists and avoidance of cognitive dissonance reinforce his belief till it becomes so deeply seated that you are unlikely ever to dissuade him. Here are the three the most common atheist conspiracy theories.

    Intelligent Design
Atheists would have you believe that Christians are fighting to get intelligent design taught in schools in order to misinform children about the origins of life and cover up the truth about evolution. Intelligent design, Creation science and Flood geology are legitimate branches of scientific inquiry. Do you really think that 0.1% of earth and life scientists could be involved in some wide-reaching conspiracy involving the denial of evidence and the manipulation of research results? Come on!

    Climate Change Denialism
Conspiracy theorists see patterns where none exist. In their mind, nothing happens by chance. So when atheists see that temperatures have been rising gradually since the industrial revolution – a mere blip in the earth’s 6,000-year history – they assume that the two must be linked: human activity causes global warming. This is a fallacy of false cause. Atheists then extrapolate that temperatures will continue to rise as they have done unless alternative energy sources are found. We Christians, however, know that Jesus controls the weather.

Lk 8:23-24 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

Yet fear-mongering atheists accuse us of “denying facts” just because we won’t give in to their delusions. They accuse us of manipulating data and using pseudo-science to misinform the public. Apparently we’re in danger of doing irreparable damage to the environment and possibly driving ourselves and many plant and animal species to extinction. Sometimes I think atheists must live exciting lives. We know that mankind cannot destroy itself, because Jesus will return before that happens (Mk 13:20). But we look forward to the day when mankind will be on the brink of destruction.

    Conservative Government
Ask any atheist and he will tell you that we are out to have conservative, theocratic governments installed around the world that will enforce Biblical law.

Well . . . this one is true, actually.

Feel free to add to the list, anyone.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

    Re: Atheist Conspiracy Theories

Dr. Pendergast, I just wanted to say, as a Christian mother, I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of the damned that call themselves atheist. With your permission, I would like to add that atheist reject The Bible, the Word of God and the Holiest of texts, for a Satanic "science" book. These "science" books are filled with lies and other Satanic beliefs, and they are constantly being changed every few years when new editions come out to better fit the Satanic homosexual liberal agenda. The Bible is the Word of God and that will never change. It just bewilders me as a Christian mother that they allow these "science" books into the classroom with our children to fill their heads with lies. The Bible and the Truth that it brings needs to replace all of these current "science" books in the classroom in order to save more souls from damnation.
