Depression is often associated with self harm and suicide. Depression isn't a choice but rather a mental disorder.

Depression is a mental disorder brought about by Satan. It's Satan's way of getting you in his grip. And then the satanic disorder brings the self-harm - it's Satan marking you as one of his, the scars will be with you for life, so Satan can always find you. Embrace the Baby Jesus and Satan will flee and the depression will be gone. Jesus will protect you when Satan comes looking for you. I don't understand why anyone would give themselves to Satan voluntarily. Why would you hand yourself over to Evil?


When I was your age, no kids self-harmed. No kids suicided. No kids had depression. And you know why? Because we all loved Jesus.


Tell Satan that you no longer want him in your life. Banish him! And embrace the Holy Spirit as it enters you to fill the void that Satan leaves. And when he does, you will feel that dark cloud of depression leave you.

Satan is not always the answer for when bad things occur.

I myself listen to Black Veil Brides and know that their music is to support teens who are going through a hard time. It does not promote self harm, it does the exact opposite. Maybe you should question your parenting because obviously it is because she is sad and feels like she has no one to turn to. Try talking with her about her feelings and what lead her to self harm in the first place. Depression is often associated with self harm and suicide. lPardon me but I'm a Christian and I do listen to Black Veil Brides. And I don't cut. Sure I've been tempted to but BVB is not the cause of it. I listen to them because they have songs that I can relate to. We listen to this band because we feel alone and hopeless and these beautiful people feel our same pain. So while I see that you think it's bad that your daughter cuts 1)maybe if you would ask her if she's okay and would listen to her problems you wouldn't be in this situation 2)you cannot blame Black Veil Brides for this, it's a matter of how your daughter feels about herself. Several times I have wanted to cut and I just break down and cry but I find myself listening to this band to calm down.
