I ask this in the spirit of seeking wisdom, not as a "rabble rousing she-bat", but would it not be this Lilith's father who's responsible for her name? It would seem to me he either chose it, or did not veto it. And would not this Lilith have been committing the grave sin of not Honoring Your Parents, were she to later adopt a name different from her father's choice? Perhaps Lilith is to be commended for not displaying teenage rebellion in all this.

Lilith is solely responsible for her own name. She comes from a God forsaken land where the toilet water swirls in the opposite direction from God's chosen country. Lilith displays only an occasional insight, and the Pastor's here have seen fit to keep her around in the mistaken notion hope that she will one day see the Light of Jesus.

There is no need to concern yourself with any display of sympathy for her plight as she continually ascribes to wicca and other false beliefs.

I know this is not as good as a proper, God Fearing American name, but it might be a way to split the difference?

I just do not see how a girl-child could defy a father's very first act over her; ie, the giving of a name. I tell you, it could only lead to worse rebellion.

Don't know what it translates to in French (Celine Dion, I think), but it's Lillith in Jooish.

As for children following their daddies, no child is obliged to follow their demon-infested progenitors into the pit of Hell. That's what Jesus came here to save us from.

I may be Eurotrash a non US-citizen, but I do understand the US is The Lord's chosen country. And I am washed by the blood of Christ our Saviour(r) .
