I was wondering the same thing. Before I read the thread properly, I assumed that she was the retard.

The victim was a sixteen year-old boy who legally could not have his photograph released because he was a minor and the victim of numerous sex offenses. His identity was not legally alllowed to be released even if he was a legal adult sincehe was a sex offense victim, but I assume that he or his mother gave consent to the news media, wbich would make it legal to publicly release his name.

I think thay they learned their lessons and are grateful because they received four-year sentences in a juvenile detention facility instead of eighty-five years in the state penitentiary as the prosecution was advocating. If Lauren received her eighty-five year sentence, she would at least be a hundred and two years-old if she survived all of the horrors of prison such as homosexuals who spread STDs with tattoos, knives, and rape; corrupt correction officers; psychological pressure; hallucinations in solitary confinemen; natural disasters; and cold, bland food that has been contaminated from bacteria and other inmates. Juvenile facilities have more privleges than adult prisons and less violence from what I have read. I would be on my knees thanking God for receiving a very lenient sentence if I was facing eighty-five years in prison.

I doubt that they filmed their actions for attention because their actions were considered criminal by law and social media sites are required by law to report illegal activities to the police. Most likely, they intended to keep the footage for their private viewing and entertainment to avoid going to prison, but one of their mothers discovered the footage and reported it to their school's resource officer.

True, speech and occupational therapy along with social role playing and rehersals can make an Aspergian seem perfectly normal, though hypersensitivity and poor eye contact can still be noticed.
